We found our Lubbock hotel

Our visit was fantastic. Its across a walk-way from the stadium and good food down the road in both directions. The staff was thoughtful and had some excellent critical thinking skills. The Tech season opener was rained out and the team setup the sitting area with snacks, drinks, and quickly got the early part of the game on. Staff was working quickly to get enough food for changed plans and make everyone comfortable. As an online graduate student, I appreciated the "library" space where I was able to work on my class work, allowing my wife to rest; it was still noisy but its in the lobby so what do you expect. Plenty of power for devices and excellent Wi-Fi for videos and content for class. This will be our Lubbock hotel.

noise from road was very loud. Air conditioner squealing all the time. Door was super hard to open and had to be slammed to close. Less than a Hall roll of toilet paper when we first got the as well as the tissue. Breakfast was not good and nothing available for gluten free.

Tv and internet not working, spent 35 minutes calling the front desk and no answer, went to front desk to report issues and the girl at the desk had ear buds in and did not notice me for several minute, was looking down at her phone, reported issues and was directed to go back to my room and unplug and plug the tv back in and everything would work, I did not work. Went back down to report it and when we were walking away the desk individual stated that there is nothing else available so they will have to call someone. When we returned to facility, 2 hours later, we were told that it was fixed, nope! We went to bed and decided that this was not a facility that we would return to for further visits to Texas Tech University.

Hotel was very clean and front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the Texas Tech theme now that my daughters is attending there. Breakfast was good and lots of options. Definitely would stay here again and again.

Bed was very comfortable great space in the room and bathroom but the shower doors kept sliding open when showering and water leaked on the floor. We did not get service to our room and had to ask for clean towels and the trash was never emptied or beds made during our stay. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful.

I had the little king suite with the wet bar. It was a very comfortable and quiet room. There was a lot of space. The bed was big and comfy and the tv was really nice with lots of options for streaming or live tv. My only complaint is when I was showering, the shower door kept on sliding open.
