The bathroom with no doors!!! It gets wet and messy. Staff don’t clean your room everyday, unless you ask for it. Trash cans on the rooms would be nice.

The location of the hotel is good because is close to sol square, restaurants, metro, and walking distance to the attractions. The staff were very friendly; the breakfast was very good. However, vehicles cannot reach the hotel, because it is in a walking street and the bedrooms are very small.

Staff perfect and room was okay but big problem with noise from adjacent rooms which made sleeping very difficult. Noise was from showers, toilet and sometimes talking as we could clearly hear some conversations. This is a shame because location, staff and breakfast were all good

Room was basic but very clean. Bathroom was modern and functional. Quite expensive for what it is but very well located just 15 seconds off Puerta del Sol. Plenty of restaurants and bars right on the doorstep.Just a 5 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor and 15 - 25 mins from all the top sights.

The hotel is located on one of the streets off of Puerta del Sol. A little hard to find as the signage is small and not very visible. Check in is at the 2nd floor. This should be noted on the hotel address description. While the hotel room has been beautifully updated with marble floors, etc. It is small but comfortable enough for 2 people. But the most glaring thing of all is that the beds are rather tired and showing a little wear albeit comfy enough. The small refrigerator is handy for people traveling with medicines that require it. Amenities are lacking compared to the other hotels we've stayed at on this category for this trip. They did however gave us a complimentary breakfast which was a nice surprise. Overall I don't really know that the few steps closer to Puerta del Sol made a difference for us (it was approx. $55 plus more). I don't think this cost justifies what you get in the overall scheme.

Good location, clean and newly remodeled rooms. However, biggest issue is with the wifi. We should have paid more attention to the prior reviews before booking. The wifi barely works here, as most have mentioned. That is pretty important for us but may nit be for others.
