Every morning you get a little gift of water and croissants on your door and it was truly such a highlight! Excellent location. Very walkable and amongst shopping and so many food options.

Thumbs up to B&B HOTEL Madrid Centro Fuencarral 52

This hotel is on a busy shopping street but I didn’t find that off-putting. The location is central - close to the metro stations Tribunal and Chueca. The hotel itself is fairly trendy - staffed by young people who are very helpful and kind. There are no drink-making facilities in rooms, but the fifth floor offers a set of free drinks (cold and hot) 24 hours a day. There are free biscuits in jars and fruit. There is also a seating area where many people gathered in the morning. For many, this will be all that is needed, but there are tons of cafes around, too. FYI - there is a fifth floor terrace to enjoy the night air, although I didn’t use it. The bed was comfy, the room clean, the facilities in the room modern and working perfectly (two different shower heads for a bit of luxury). Every morning there was a paper bag on the outside door handle with water and sometime a pastry. Very welcome. Overall, I’d say this is a good hotel to stay in - it offers everything required for a city stay. Whatever it might not have will not be far away from this location.

This hotel is in the heart of Madrid city center. Very convenient to walk and explore Madrid (Parque del Retiro, Plazas, etc.). Its also very convenient to grab public transportation or taxis. You can shop in the area and also eat at the local restaurants. Excellent choice.

Very Functional in a Great Location

The entry and lobby are underwhelming. However, the rooms are comfortable enough, if a little on the Spartan side -- no closet, for example. The rooftop diner is very modern with state-of-the-art coffee machines and is self serve. Fruit, cookies, and juice are free. For anything else there are vending machines. The location is great.

Disappointing Return Stay This was our second time staying at this hotel, and while the location is still a major plus—central and convenient at an affordable price—unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined since our last visit. Our room was not very clean; there was a thick layer of dust, especially on the glass nightstands, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The lobby also had a strange, putrid smell that was quite off-putting. The room itself was dark with insufficient lighting, and there was an issue with the AC. It’s controlled remotely from the lobby, so we couldn’t adjust it ourselves. The room became very stuffy, and because the street outside is so noisy, opening the windows for air wasn’t a real option if you want to get any sleep. Sadly, the lack of cleanliness and comfort made this stay a disappointing one, and we wouldn’t return.

Very good location close to the Tribunal metro station, attractions, dinning and shopping. Staff was very friendly. Neighborhood is safe but it could be too loud if you like a quiet environment.
