pleasant stay at DWO Alcalá Hotel

I had a pleasant stay at DWO Alcalá Hotel. The rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the breakfast was very nice with a good selection to start the day. The staff were helpful and professional, always ready to assist with any questions. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is not very close to the city center, so you’ll need to take public transport or have a car to get around easily. Also, note that the restaurant only serves à la carte food starting from 7pm — something to consider if you're arriving hungry earlier in the evening. Overall, a good option if you're looking for a quiet and clean place to stay outside the busy city center.

First of all clean rooms. Nice staff, and very polite reception and most important thing that they knew english! Very safe place. Little bit far from city center but not any big deal. Near to subway and very pleasure resturants nearby. We enjoyed staying there and we will back for sure.👍❤️

The hotel staff was ver helpful Javi o Javier helped us book taxi pick up early in the morning and he also helped us when our luggage's were delivered to the hotel after the airline lost our luggage's. Overall the location was great easy to get to restaurants and attractions the streets were quiet so we were able to sleep well

Room is very comfortable, shower is leaking all over the floor. The biggest disappointment with this hotel was the breakfast we paid for. There was nothing to eat. Lots of bread and cold cuts, plain cereal, yogurt and fruits. Eggs were gone in seconds, people were arguing over it. I recomnded the hotel, just don’t waste money on breakfast

First of all, this hotel is not central at all. I booked because it stated it was close to plaza mayor however it is in the business district, so if you are traveling to experience Madrid, you will need to take a taxi or Uber and spend between $15-$30 just to get there. The price will fluctuate depending on the time of day and traffic. The air conditioner was not working. The check out time on the reservation said 2pm, but it was at 12pm and we were not advised until that noon. Eco friendly because only one pillow. It was noisy and I could hear the cars from the street. Great water pressure and temperature with dove shampoo and body wash

DWO was a wonderful base for our holiday in Madrid. We appreciated having a lovely, comfortable, clean hotel, with very well appointed rooms and a kind staff without spending a fortune. The metro station was ten walking minutes away, and we didn’t mind at all, especially since walking is the only way to fully enjoy the city anyway
