We had a very unpleasant experience at this property and encountered multiple significant issues during our stay.The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. The floor was extremely dusty, and a dirty mop and bucket were left in the bathroom. Additionally, a soiled cleaning cloth and a chemical bottle were left on the countertop. Most concerning was the presence of cockroaches on the countertop, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious hygiene concerns.The shower system was unnecessarily complicated and lacked any usage instructions. While attempting to operate it, I sustained a skin burn, which could have been avoided with proper guidance or a safer setup.Towels: The towels provided were extremely stiff and rough, with a paper-like texture, making them impractical and uncomfortable to use. Upon our arrival around 3:00 p.m., extremely loud music was playing. I contacted the property owner to request assistance, but was informed only that the issue would be resolved later in the evening, which was not helpful. On the second night, there was excessive noise from a neighboring unit around 2:00 a.m. that continued for approximately an hour and a half, preventing us from sleeping. We contacted Vrbo, who immediately reached out to the property owner on our behalf. Unfortunately, our messages were ignored. No housekeeping service was provided, towels were not replaced, and no effort was made to resolve issues that could have been addressed promptly. Stay away.

I will start with the positives:1) Great location. Delicias metro stop is literally on the corner. Supermarket. Coffee shops and great restaurants are all around. 2) The net above the living space was nice.

I Would n t come back to this apartment. . Prefer to Pay more and stay in a more decent place Maybe some teenagers could accept such a place. To get the bed you need to climb a narrow stair and pray for not to wake up at midnight to open the Door to someone ot to go to the toilet which is under that stair(And importante!: old , sick,obese or too large people should forget sbout it)Location is fine. With a lot of places to eat and drink and buy. Metro delicias Ia Also in the corner

Las fotos no reflejan oara nada la realidad del apartamento, en las fotos parece mucho más amplio de lo que realmente es.No hay nada, pero nada de luz natural.La limpieza brilla por su ausencia, nos encontramos las paredes con humedades.También nos encontramos 5 cucarachas, una de ellas estaba en el frigorífico.Las sábanas de la cama no se habían lavado para nuestra visita ya que encontramos bastantes pelos en la almohada y manchas. El propietario nos dejo solo medio rollo de papel higiénico y una sola toalla de ducha cuando sabía que íbamos dos personas.No nos dejo ni jabón de manos, ni papel de cocina, ni jabón para lavar los platos (solo había un mini bote que parecía ser una muestra que dan en las tiendas y encima estaba por la mitad).Nada más entrar al apartamento sentimos un olor muy fuerte y desagradable como a humedad o a un producto químico. El olor no se fue en los 3 días.La ubicación del apartamento no estaba mal, pero el interior del edificio no lo había enseñado en las fotos y la verdad que entiendo porque no lo había enseñado. Era un edificio que no inspiraba mucha confianza a quedarse allí a dormir, la primera noche había unos hombres discutiendo en la misma puerta del apartamento.No había nada de insonorización.En cuanto a la comunicación con el propietario, solía tardar un día en contestar. Las indicaciones para entrar al edificio son erróneas ya que no se habría la puerta siguiendo sus pasos, menos mal que justo salía un hombre y pudimos entrar.

Lovely stay

Lovely property with everything we needed. I would recommend that if you are tall, you watch out for head space in the bedroom area, as it’s quite low. It’s also a bit of a way out from the main tourist area of Madrid, so if you prefer to be closer, this place might not be for you. But we enjoyed being in a quieter area.

Stunning

Everything was lovely, the flat is super big and clean. The check in was really easy too. It comes with toiletries like hoteks which was very handy and a lovely detail, also it come with washing dish and even a laundry pod. The location is super nice, its a calm neighbourhood with absolutely everything close by, the centre of madrid is just 15 min away. Highly recommended this place I will definitely come back every time.

Ideal Location and Quirky

We had a lovely week in Madrid made all the better by our choice of apartment. The only negative was a little confusion over access to the keys, but that was quickly sorted. The apartment was clean with ample towels and bedding. The kitchen was basic but sufficient for our needs. There is a sofa and tv if needed. The bed is on a mezzanine floor accessed by floating stairs and a rope hand rail. There is also a netting ceiling between the lounge and bedroom. It looks strong enough to lounge on, though we didn't use it. If you need to use the bathroom during the night you might want to leave a lamp on downstairs. There is an electric radiator which was sufficient for our visit in March when it is still quite cool. The apartment is residential but there was no excessive noise, even at night. There are two small supermarkets in the same street and a very nice greengrocer. There are other shops within a few minutes walk. It is about 50 meters to Delicias metro station with very easy access to the whole of the city. Locally, there is a very good train museum just over the road and the Queen Sofia Gallery (Picasso/modern art) can be walked in about 15 minutes, with the Prado and Retiro Park 5 minutes further. If you are eating out there are a number of very good local cafes for breakfast/lunch etc. If you are driving, parking in the street is by meter, though the local transport is so cheap and reliable that a car is not needed. When we return this will be our first choice rental.

Misrepresented property

We walked in and were shocked with the space. It smelled like mold, the stairs to the bedroom were small, steep and dangerous. The bed had no blanket. I tried to communicate with owner who ghosted me and never replied to my messages. We had to scramble and find a hotel because we could not stay there.

The apartment was nice. The area is very convenient for restaurants and shopping as well as getting to the subway station. There is NO on-site parking. Only street parking and good luck finding a spot. There are no windows to see outside. The windows open to an area between apartments.

The experience here was amazing! The owner was very polite and was very accommodating. He was even able to work with us as our flight landed a couple hours earlier and let us check in at an earlier time! Great communicator as well. All my messages were responded to promptly. The apartment was perfect for me and my friend who were visiting. The place is also only half a block away from the metro so easy access to the whole city.. Overall wonderful experience.

J'ai effectué une réservation plus de 5 semaines à l'avance et j'ai reçu une confirmation indiquant que tout était en règle. 4 jours avant mon arrivée, j'ai envoyé un message à l'hôte mais il n'a pas répondu, puis j'ai envoyé des courriels, appelé et demandé de l'aide au service en ligne de VRBO. Toujours pas de retour de la part de l'hôte. J'ai utilisé le service de VRBO en ligne pendant une journée et demie pour obtenir un suivi afin d'obtenir notre code d'entrée et l'adresse du lieu. L'hôte a répondu 2-3 heures avant notre arrivée. Pendant ce temps, comme nous étions à la dernière minute, la 3e agente de VRBO consultée a annulé le tout. À la dernière minute, nous avons dû payer 40 de plus par nuit pour obtenir une autre réservation, dans un endroit bien plus éloigné que prévu. Il est important de noter que ces deux réservations ont été faites sans réponse de la part de l'hôte et que le service en ligne avec VRBO ne sert qu'à attendre ou à appeler. Chaque fois que vous appelez, tout est en espagnol et personne ne répond. Je suis vraiment mécontente. Attention, j'ai dû dormir à l'aéroport la première fois, et maintenant, payer plus cher et ne pas être dans la zone que nous voulions. Je ne recommande n'y l'hôte , n'y VRBO.

O apartamento estava bem situado e com transportes perto. O apartamento em si, parecia muito bom e exatamente como anunciado, mas depois encontramos algumas coisas más; foi impossível utilizar a televisão sem ter de usar um serviço de streaming, em dias diferentes encontrei insetos na casa de banho, que por si só tinha um cheiro nada agradável e não desaparecia. As escadas não são muito seguras (abanam e o "corrimão" é uma corda presa à parede) e a viga no topo das escadas é baixa e então fácil de bater com a cabeça.

A good stay in a good neigbourhood

Een net verblijf die alles heeft wat je nodig hebt. In een nette buurt met een supermarkt aan de overkant. Een metro station op 3 minuten lopen en na 4 stops sta je op Sol dus in het centrum. Zou het zo weer boeken als we naar Madrid gaan.
