Weekend trip!

I came to Madrid for 3 nights and I chose this hotel because it seemed central and good price. The room was really big but the smell was not very nice inside, also there was a noise maybe from the water pipes that kept me up on my last night. On my last day we ran out of water in the room. Also the sofa in the room was half broken. The location is great and the rooms very big and good priced but was not happy with the smell, dust, noise and water.

good value for money

Location good just off the main street no fancy entrance being a side street. no bar or cafeteria open at the hotel in the evening could have done with a kettle in the room.

OK

It's okay for a few days. We had a nice clean room. The staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was good. Breakfast was okay.

Lovely city break

We found the location of this hotel great. It was so easy to get around. We walked everywhere. However our room was a bit small and dark. It had frosted windows that faced into an inner courtyard. If we were to stay longer I would have requested a room change as I found it claustrophobic but as we were out all day we put up with it. The staff were nice and accommodating. Would recommend this hotel based on location but request a bright room!

Generally Good

If using UK credit card beware. They convert to sterling at your disadvantage without seeking your permission first which can cost you 2% extra on your payment.

Hôtel encore confortable mais vétuste

Pros: la proximité avec les sites touristiques, la compétence et la disponibilité du personnel et la qualité du petit déjeuner.
Cons: Ne plus louer des chambres aussi vétuste. L’hôtel aurait besoin d'un bon rafraichissement .
Très bon emplacement et personnel compétent. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié, de bonne qualité. Hôtel globalement confortable mais j'ai été étonné que l'on m'ait donné dans un hôtel de cette catégorie une chambre très petite avec une climatisation extrêmement bruyante ( du jamais vu ! ) . J'ai fait part de ce désagrément et on m'a donné sans aucune difficulté une autre chambre en s'excusant ( le personnel semblait être informé du problème de cette chambre, ce qui n'explique pas qu'il continue de la louer?). La seconde chambre n’avait pas cet inconvénient, mais avait vraisemblablement été victime d'une importante inondation : la porte de salle de bain était complètement pourrie et il était impossible de la refermer ; autre exemple : le rideau sur velux ne fonctionnant plus et qui a avait été bricolé avec des lattes de lambris pour pouvoir le fixer. Bien que l’hôtel reste assez confortable et que le personnel soit très attentif et accueillant, la vétusté de ces équipement dans un hôtel 4 étoiles reste surprenante. Je recommanderai cet hôtel mais avec ces précisions.

Erittäin hyvä sijainti, ystävällinen ja auttava henkilökunta. Kadulta kuului vkonloppuna yhtenä yönä kova meteli lähibaarista. Aamiainen erinomainen. Hinta-laatusuhde hyvin kohdallaan. Lyhyt matka mertolle ja kävellen oopperaan, kuninkaanlinnaan ja mukaviin tapaspaikkoihin. Huoneet hieman kuluneet.

Citytrip

The location of the hotel is great! There's enough choice for breakfast, the wi-fi connection worked well and the staff was very helpful (24/7). The room was clean and luckily we could enter it immediately when we arrived (1pm). We may definitely come back to the hotel when visiting Madrid again.
