We have stayed at this hotel many times. We were visiting Madrid this time for a special occasion and booked and paid for a superior room with a terrace. However on arrival I was told that we could not have a superior room as the Air conditioning was not working on that floor and we were downgraded to a standard room. The air con was working on that floor though!

Excellent value for money

This hotel is excellent value for money. It’s in a great location by fashionable Chueca and close to Alonso Martinez Metro station. The staff were very helpful and polite. The decor is super and the rooms huge. The only downfall was that the carpets in the halls needed a good hoover. Apart from this the hotel is faultless. It will definitely be my hotel of preference for all my trips to Madrid

I reserved a queen size bed room , and they gave Me a full side bed. For me and my husband. I did check prior to my arrival with Expedia confirming a/c on the rooms, wich they confirmed it . Time check In there was no a/c Some one put a sign on my door so not make room or disturb, not me. And they didn’t make my room. If you reserve with time a queen bed and they don’t have the price would be less of what I paid. But no, they didn’t care

Staff at the reception were very acomodating but did not have much knowledge to give to travellers.For example we asked for Hop on hop off bus ticket sale office and we were send to much further office.Few days later just by chance we find out a ticket sale office much more closer to the hotel. One would assume that staff at the front desk of a hotel should have good knowledg of this kind of things .The information about sight seeing and place of intrest were very limited in the front desk.

Very happy about everything! It was not very good sound isolated, so noisy from the hall in the morning. The gym could have had some dumb balls and other equipment. But the location, staff and cleanness were great! I’m very satisfied and would recommend it!

Fantastic hotel

Fab hotel in an amazing location. Room was comfortable and spotless. Probably the most incredible shower I’ve ever seen!! I thought it was a bit strange that there was no English TV stations, only Spanish. Also, we booked and paid for breakfast, (€13 pp was not worth it) and they tried to tell us at breakfast that we didn’t have it booked. Then upon check out, the same girl who I paid for breakfast, said I owed for breakfast so attention to detail could have been a bit better. Other than that the staff were all incredible. I might just be picky but I would avoid breakfast :-)
