My family had a great stay. Very clean and tidy room. Clean, comfy beds. Spacious room for a family of 4 with bunk beds. Reception and cafe was very lively and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and accommodating especially Christine who took care of our requests.
Modernistic twist to an old structure. Would recommend this facility

AC did not work for the first few hours of checking in. Had to go downstairs 3 times to complain about it until fixed. Also water pressure was in and out therefore was hard to shower without getting scolded feom the hot water. Terrible! Place was nice and kept up. Staff from bar was terrible.

The location is great, walking distance to the prado museum, parque del retiro and the jardin botánico. The hotel is also new and very confortable. The only cons are the wifi seemed to very slow and the A/C controls are not intuitive, otherwise great experience
We only stayed one night prior to flying home. The property is located right next to the Atocha train station so it's convenient with easy taxi access for getting to the airport. The immediate area is fine but be careful where you go as the adjacent neighborhood can get a bit sketchy. We walked back toward the Puerta del Sol area where we stayed at the the start of the trip for dinner so it was good. Walkable in general. The room is a bit small for 4 people but it worked fine for one night. Good windows that are essentially noise proof. Sleeping there was nice. The A/C didn't cool too well (23.5C all night even with 19C setting) but the temperature dropped in Madrid that evening and it was cool enough most of the night. The staff is friendly. The room was clean with good soap and towels. There are many food options nearby. The Prado museum is also close by so that is the general area.
The location was amazing with most touristy things within walking distance.
However, this was a hostel, not a hotel. The rooms are very small with house cleaning services only every three days and seem like it was a bother when they actually had to do it. Cleanliness was not very good either. We also had to move rooms after the first night due to mold found in the bathroom’ ceiling.
Perfect for family of 4, near Atocha train station
Unfortunately, we were only booked in this hotel for about eight hours. We use it as a place to sleep between flying into Madrid and taking the train out early the next morning however, it was perfect for our family of four, it looked like a fun place to stay for younger people too!
This is a hostel (you'll encounter large groups of young people who stay in the shared rooms), but the Superior Double Room, City View is lovely and comfortable, better than many hotels—very large with windows/balconies on all sides, nice private bathroom. Excellent location, well worth the price!
