We enjoyed our stay here. Excellent location.Mattress was very comfortable. I agree with other reviews about not having enough tiolet paper and basic items like hand soap or laundry detergent etc.Little confusing about checking in but we finally got it. I would stay here again!

Needs more amenities.

Very clean. Great location. 2 adults, 5 days. 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. No other products like paper towels, napkins, proper soap or shampoo. Finally found linens for the sofa bed. No heat. So not so great.

Location location!

Step outside and you are in the middle of Madrid activity. The apartment is cute and very clean. Great shower and a very comfortable bed. Getting into the building was challenging and I would have given it 4 stars for that, but the woman at Charming Concepts stayed on the phone with us the entire time and we were able to get in with her help. Actually the response to all our questions was always prompt. Could use a few extra items like an additional garbage bag, kitchen towel or paper towels. It got a little loud in the alley on the weekend but we pulled the bedroom door closed and it really blocked the noise. Again, the location is tremendous and you can really walk pretty much anywhere.

Good location

Central location close to amenities but noisy. Checkin difficult luckily resident let us in as we had no keys (main door keys were in apartment not a lockbox). Little things such as more toilet paper, salt and pepper would have been nice. Still waiting to hear about security deposit.

Madrid vacaciones

Overall, it was a nice stay in Madrid. Great location and the apartment was in good shape. The only issues we had was during check in when the code provided to get into apartments didn’t work and the lock to get into the apartment was partially stripped, causing additional key manipulation to open the apartment door. After a couple of days, we mastered how to open the door but it was frustrating at times. Besides these two incidents, all was ok.

Very well-managed property

Nice location and well-managed check-in. Property might have benefited by addition of a few basic supplies: salt, pepper, napkins, tissues, and the like. These, in no way, diminished my thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Beautiful apartment in old town Madrid

This apartment was near everything in old town Madrid. Great foods, shopping were only a few minutes walk away. The apartment was clean, modern, and well stocked with basic supplies. The windows face the back of the building which is a small quite stree with no stores or restaurants. The front of the building was on a much more active street with easy access to the market Plaza Mayor and Mercado de San Miguel both with great food. Prefect location, with great transportation and late night activities.

Nice apartment with no enough essential supplies

The place is located right in the center o the city. It is very comfortable. It has AC in the livingroom but it does not cool the room enough. HOWEVER, they don't provide enough linen and bathroom toiletries. For example we were 4 people and only 2 towels were provided. There is a bed for 2 people and the other 2 people sleep in a sofa bed. HOWEVER, there are no sheets and no pillows for the people sleeping in the sofa bed. These are very basic needed items.

I can't stay because COVID

Before staying in any place check the regulations regarding COVID. My partner got COVID ON June 24 and our stay was going to take place the 8 of July.Up to the 8 of July her COVID PCR was positive.But VBRO are rigid and strict with this .Spain don' t want you with COVID neither Iberia but the owner did not aceppt any changes of dates.Very convenient for him.Very different at many other places. So you better rent in a place were 24 before you could cancel no matter what and your money back like Hotels.com

Convenient, Quiet

We loved this apartment! It is very close to the San Miguel Market and Plaza Mayor as well as metro stops and buses. There are supermarkets close by as well as coffee (Cafe & Te offers juices, sandwiches and salads that were great). Would stay again anytime. Note that payment is not through VRBO but rather a company in Madrid. My usual credit cards didn’t work but a travel credit card did.
