Beautiful room, staff were friendly and helpful. Deducted one star and the flat missed some key amenities to make it a comfortable “self-catered” stay, eg washing up liquid, oven mitts. Also the TVs weren’t working but this wasn’t a major issue since we didn’t spend tons of time at the flat anyway.

We spend only 1 night there but it was excellent , great location, clean and huge rooms we had a 2 bedroom apartment. they have heated pool, but we did not use it. Breakfast was really good. We loved it there!

October visit. Separate bedroom for me while teenager was comfy on bedsettee in the kitchen/diner. Kitchen was well equipped, including a large fridge/freezer, mini dishwasher and washing machine. The two TVs didn't work, but WiFi was very good so we managed fine. I did ask about fixing the TV, but we didn't chase them up. Roof terrace had beautiful views and I spend time up there in the mornings just quietly reading. Pool was small but perfect for a quick dip. We appreciated the mini shower on the terrace. We used the amazing staircase, but I noticed everything was very accessible, mobility friendly, toilets, roof terrace, rooms.

We had a great stay in a two bedroom and two bathroom suite. The location is great for walking everywhere in Madrid - there is sometimes a bit of noise from the road but it didn't disturb our sleep. We used the sofa bed in the living room so we missed having somewhere to sit, there was a table but a bigger seating area would have been great. The pool is a great bonus, it was busy one of the days and not much room to sit and relax by the pool but the bar is a good option too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again when visiting Madrid.

I didn't realize until we got there that was actually a (small) 1-bedroom apartment with a full, small kitchen (I thought it was a junior suite when I booked it)! I would definitely stay at a SmartRental again, for a longer stay next time!

I stayed at SmartRental Gran Vía with my adult daughter and teen son, and we had a great experience. The location is right on the main Gran Vía, so you're in the heart of all the hustle and bustle—perfect for exploring Madrid. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator, which made our stay even more convenient. We arrived on a lively Friday night, and the energy of the area was infectious. It’s about a 15–20 minute walk to most of the major attractions and shopping areas, including stores like Primark, Zara, and many others. There are also lots of great restaurants nearby—our favourite was Honest Greens, just around the corner. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace. In the evenings, we could relax by the pool and take in the stunning panoramic views of Madrid—such a nice way to end the day. Highly recommend for families or anyone wanting to be in the center of it all!
