L’hôtel bénéficie d’une localisation parfaite et les chambres sont très propres et confortables. Mention spéciale aux boss boy, au personnel de sécurité, ainsi que la préposée au bar de la piscine particulièrement sympathiques et chaleureux. En revanche, plusieurs aspects sont décevants pour un établissement de ce niveau et au tarif demandé. Le service à la réception a été froid et peu attentionné. L’espace piscine, déjà moins séduisant que sur les photos, souffre en plus d’une absence totale d’ambiance (aucune musique, étonnant pour un hôtel « Umusic » adossé à un théâtre) et du fait qu’il soit permis de fumer partout, ce qui rend l’expérience désagréable pour les non-fumeurs. L’insonorisation des chambres est également insuffisante : on entend les voisins (voix, ronflements), bien plus que les bruits de la rue. Des bouchons d’oreilles ont été nécessaires. Enfin, le rapport qualité-prix est décevant : le prix payé dépasse largement la valeur réelle de l’expérience. En résumé, un hôtel qui pourrait avoir beaucoup de potentiel, mais qui déçoit par son manque d’attention aux détails d’un 5 étoiles, son service impersonnel et une ambiance très éloignée de ce que son nom laisse espérer.

Modern accommodation w tight quarters

The hotel is modern and is centrally located in the city. Views from the rooftop were nice and it was great to have an outdoor pool and terrace (outside our room). Most of my critical comments relate to value for the money. This is a five star hotel and for the high cost per night (relative to other options) we thought they should have provided more amenities like free breakfast (which cost $25 per person per day) and more space. The bathroom was very small and there was no real location to sit other than the terrace outside. Little things like one sink, very small trash can and coffee in room not refilled were also unexpected for this type of hotel. There were a couple of minor cleanliness issues that should be addressed but overall it was clean. A good stay but may not be worth the money unless location and terrace are key.

We had a room upgrade but the view was of a wall and a store for bottles and silver service equipment. We complained and they moved us the next day to a street view which was better. We originally booked a courtyard view in a deluxe room !! Wont stay again.

The hotel is the most perfect area of Madrid, minutes walk from Sol & all the surrounding sights. I was so excited by the quality of this property, honestly its a 4plus star hotel. Great staff, great amenities, great location. Everything you could want in an excellent hotel is here. Beautiful roof top lounge, pool, restaurant, all were great! Stay here.

We are just wrapping our 4-night stay at the Umusic Madrid and I cannot speak highly enough about our experience. I went back and forth through hundreds of reviews when trying to pick a place for my 6 year-old and I to stay and I am so happy we decided on Umusic. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city in Sol which made it so easy to get to all of the sights and beyond (by walking or public trans). Upon check-in, we were greeted with a Cava and cold water, which was a wonderful touch. We had a deluxe guest room which was perfect for our party of 2. The hotel and room was just as pictured, super clean and modern. They have a lovely pool area which was the perfect place to relax after touring during the heat wave. The rooftop bar was a great place to have an evening drink under the sunset. We opted for the included breakfast which was fantastic! Lots of options with both buffet and made to order dishes. This also included cava, cappuccino/espresso bar and Bloody Mary station. All of the staff were amazing! They were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Overall, this was such a wonderful property and we would definitely stay again!
