This hotel charges 26.5 percent taxes on the base amount. Going rate in Melaka is 8 percent plus 10+4 MYR, nowhere near crazy market up amount. Either they or Expedia are pocketing extra money !!

The cleaning crew was very noisy and loud. Talking, laughing and shouting. No courtesy of other guess taking much needed naps in other rooms. Location and condition was good but whats the point if you cant rest when needed.

It has been many years that I stayed at this hotel and Hatten. Frankly speaking, both hotels can be managed better in terms of facade, hotel room (especially toilet at Estadia). Overall, it is ok for a short stayover at Malacca.

Check in was quick and simple, stuffs were friendly. The rooms really need some TLC. We had a family deluxe suits. Some of the lights switches are not working properly in the main bedroom. The main bedroom shower door can't fully closed and water spray out to the floor during shower. The second bed room shower will not drain properly and over flow outside the shower room. Let the front desk know and never get fix.

Expedia has two room options, one Deluxe Twin and Deluxe Queen. The Deluxe Queen is a little bit more than the Twin room. I paid the Deluxe Queen bec we are couple and will need only one bed. When we checked in, they gave us the Twin Room instead of the Queen that I piad for. When I asked them about it, they said that they have no room for Queen room and the price are the same. This is not what was in the Expedia website and I paid a little bit more. Frustrating but for a one night stay, we went ahead and stayed. Wrong information leads to unhappy service. But the location is great, walkable and convenient for the bus ride we took from Singapore.

There’s some yellowish stain o the bed linen and the bathroom was a bit dirty and dirt on the floor. Also, the table was dusty had to use my own napkin to clean it before I place my personal items on it.

Stayed for 4 nights and it was lovely. Breakfast was good, an easy walk to the night market. Any questions we had were quickly answered by staff. Room is a little rundown but nothing incredibly noticeable unless you really focus on it. All in all would definitely stay next time I come to Melaka.

The room is quite run down. The toilet flush was missing a button and air con is not working properly. The bed is not clean,., basic hygiene is a must. Although we support reduce waste, the toiletries are given 1 small set , no tissue left in the tissue box and no on where to get more when you used up or return if you do not need. The hotel experience was a far cry from what we experienced back in 2018.
