The room was fantastic, a really great price but the breakfast wasn't well stocked. You couldn't get many items and we have to wait 20 minutes for bacon. It's a shame as the service was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to help.

Good location near to the tram stop. Room was clean. No noise at night, so had a quiet sleep. Took a while to work out the thermostat, but once worked out no issues. Breakfast had a good variety.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly and will not be returning. Upon arrival, the bathroom in my room had a strong smell of urine. I called reception several times but no one answered. I eventually had to find a member of staff in the corridor to assist. She cleaned the toilet and sprayed the room, but the smell remained, making the bathroom very unpleasant to use throughout my stay. Breakfast was also below standard — I would rate it 2 stars at best. The quality and variety were poor compared to what you would expect from a hotel in this category. Service at the bar in the afternoon was also unsatisfactory. A female member of staff clearly required training in customer service. I stood at the bar waiting to be served and she ignored me, choosing instead to serve the person next to me. Only after I spoke up to say I was there first did she serve me — and she then apologised to the other customer instead of acknowledging her mistake to me. Very poor service and not acceptable hospitality standards. Overall, this hotel failed to meet expectations in cleanliness, service, and quality. I will not be staying here again.

Only complaint was a dirty menu on the side- bits of food stuck in it. Urrrgggh Breakfast good, and able to check in earlier which was fab! Pillows were a but hard though.
