The room was a good size, there was a stain on the duvet but apart from that the room was clean and comfortable. During the night there was a strong smell of someone smoking weed which came through the AC which wasn’t pleasant or expected. We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot comment on this.

Lighting is terrible. Mould in shower. Service desk is rude and patronising, dont see how this is a 4 star. The double bed is 2 single beds put together. Aviod this hotel.

Lovely clean cosy room. Nice welcome from reception. Nice decor. The chap on the bar was very cold though when I asked him to explain what the Happy Hour deal was and he shrugged and wasn’t very friendly at all. He didn’t smile and we felt uncomfortable as if we were putting him out by ordering drinks. He called over a man in a suit who was more friendly and who explained the £8 cocktail offer (we thought it might be only certain ones or two of the same) The cocktails weren’t that tasty unfortunately, overpowering lemon taste (Mai Tai)… the Pornstar Martini was nice though. The breakfast waiter was great and very efficient and the breakfast was fabulous and all other staff were pleasant. The bedroom was so hot and although the bedding was great quality it was too thick in the hot room so we didn’t sleep too well. The aircon only seemed to go down to 19 and rattled when you put the fan on, so we left it off (and the windows didn’t open at all). The smellies in the bathroom were divine, the shower was awesome and the bed was super comfy. Location is also brilliant… we could see the big wheel from our room (503). We had a lovely stay and would come back…. just a couple of things which aren’t deal breakers but were worth mentioning. Thank you
