The Service is no longer as good as it used to be. The Ayalas should stick to malls. I arrived from the US after 18 hours, including a layover in Incheon, at almost 12 midnight. Upon check in at almost 12 midnight, I was informed that my room was upgraded as a courtesy because of the poor service I received a week before I left for the US. I informed the hotel upon check out that I’d be checking back in late the following week because of my flight ETA and that I’d like my room ready upon arrival. I got to my upgraded room and the room was hot. I adjusted the airconditioning, took a bath, then waited for an hour for the room to get cooler. This was already past 1 am. The airconditioning wasn’t working so I called guest services. The engineering staff had to fix the airconditioning for about 30 minutes before it worked properly. This shows they’re not on top of things that is required in hotels like this. I felt i checked into a pension house.
