Not the Hilton

Hotel is comfortable. Pool not so deep, gym very small and treadmill didn't work. Great if you want a real feel for the True Manila. Staff friendly. No coffee maker in room and coffee shop doesn't believe in refilling coffee. Relaxing stay - great place to get away from everything. Not a place to go if you want fancy hotel or special amenities.

Geschäftlicher Aufenthalt

Ich war auf den Philippinen in mehreren Hotels, in denen keine westlichen Touristen Urlaub machen. Im Vergleich ist das Pearl Manila Hotel wirklich top. Es hat mich beeindruckt, dass die Bettwäsche täglich gewechselt wurde. Ein absoluter Luxus in einem so armen Land. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe nur positives erlebt und kann das Hotel wirklich empfehlen.

Schönes Hotel

Das Hotel ist gut platziert. Man sieht, dass es in die Jahre gekommen ist. Allerding ist es sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Eine Bemerkung: 2 Lifts es ist zu wenig...man muss lange warten.

Perheloma

Hotellin kuvat eivät vastaa todellisuutta. Netti yhteys katkeilee ja on aivan surkea. Kylpyhuoneessa ei ole suihtua pöntölle alapesua varten. Aamupala ei ole sitä mitä kuvassa on vaan se tilataan erikseen ja on todella pieni. Ilmastointi laiteessa on vaan 2 vaihtoehtoa auki tai kiinni,siksi nyt vilustunut ja kurkku kipiä. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä, mutta niin ovat kaikki Filipiiniläisetkin aina. ( Tiedän kun itsellä vaimo Filipiineiltä)

Wer unkompliziert wie die Filippinos sind, ist hier wirklich gut aufgehoben!

Leute mit gehoben Ansprüchen sollten dieses Hotel meiden! Dafür gibt es zuviele Kritikpunkte. Doch wer es einfach einfach liebt und sich mit den allgemeinen Lebensumständen auf den Philippinen anfreunden und auch teilen kann, ist in diesem Hotel wirklich sehr gut aufgehoben. Der Preis ist absolut in Ordnung und Fair. Ich will nicht sagen billig. Jedoch sehr sehr günstig, für das was man bekommt. Wie schon gesagt: "einfach bescheiden gut!" Man darf einfach nicht zuviel erwarten! Wer das jedoch möchte, zahlt entsprechend dafür. Mir und meiner Freundin hat es gefallen und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vielleicht ist die Klimaanlage bissl laut. Doch irgendwann hat man sich an das Geräusch gewöhnt. Ich würde immer wieder gern wiederkommen. Das Personal einfach sehr freundlich und höflich. Die Fahrstuhlführerinnen einfach nur "Süss", wie sie ihren Dienst tun. Nicht einfach, bei der sommerlichen Hitze. Die Lage finde ich auch gut! Alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Was aber nicht immer sehr angenehm bei den heißen Temperaturen, dem Autolärm und Abgasen ist. Doch wer sich nach Manila traut, muss damit rechnen. Hitze, Lärm und Abgase ohne Ende. Aber einfach nur spannend. Fazit: Das Hotel hat die besten Jahre hinter sich gelassen. Ohne Frage! Aber wie schon eingangs erwähnt. Wer es einfach einfach mag oder liebt ist hier wirklich gut aufgehoben! Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Und darauf kommt es letztendlich an!
