The best location and the staff is super friendly . Breakfast delicious . I enjoy staying there when I go to Medellin . Andres who works in the hotel transportation is super reliable and goes above ad beyond to make your staying memorable . Highly recommend him to get around the city .

I'm so glad I found this hotel! The value for the money was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful - so many options, all delicious. My room was elegant, spacious, clean, and well maintained. The staff I met were all very thoughtful and went out of their way to be helpful - especially the kind gentleman behind the bar at the pool and the waiters/waitresses in the restaurant. The surrounding area feels very safe for walking to nearby restaurants and shopping areas, even in the evenings (I travel alone, so this is important to me), and the San Fernando plaza (right downstairs) also has its own little food court with coffee shops and quick meal options, as well as a pharmacy on the first floor. I walked about 10 mins to Oviedo Centro Comercial - an upscale shopping center - where I found a small supermarket-type store called "D1" that offered the kinds of little snacks and provisions I like to have on hand. Ubers arrived almost immediately when called and were super inexpensive, but there are also taxis right outside of the reception area that cost virtually the same. All in all, the entire experience was simply lovely. When I return to Medellin, I will most definitely stay at Plaza San Fernando again.

Terrible experience,if you don’t speak Spanish don’t bother coming to this Hotel because they don’t speak English at all and they won’t even try starting from the receptionist all the way up to the restaurant staff Also, they don’t know what Customer Service means unless you tip then everything change . The waiter won’t even look at me the next morning when I came in or try to get me a table because I did not leave a tip the day before. I will leave a tip when I feel like somebody took care of me, not just because I have to ,it is a buffet and I had to go get everything myself and I do not encourage this kind of behavior. Room was nice, but watch out for the towels, not very clean. After I checked out, I told the receptionist this was bad experience and I won’t be back and he told CHE BUONNO . That was really funny.
