Waterslides were fun for the kids but were pretty run down. No steam room (locked without explanation), no hot tub. Overall facilities old and tired. Breakfast mediocre. Best way to describe staff is weird. Cleaners came into room with do not disturb sign up. Check-in was uncomfortable; took 5 minutes to log in and their only greeting to us was ‘maybe’ when we asked if we were at the right desk 😬

Everything was great except it was LOUD. The people staying upstairs were comstantly charging across the floor (our ceiling) and yelling, talking loudly and just being noisy. Not the hotel's fault per se, but the soundproofing was not good.

It was a hassle to get extra pillows and blankets for our kids. Front desk went out of their way to let us know there were no outside visitors in the pool, then our card keys would not open the door to the pool. We asked for turndown service for our room that was never done. And the bed was not very comfortable. We will try another property next time we are in the Hat.
