This is an elegant old hotel, well maintained, right across from Parliament House. Which is both good and bad. There were demonstrations all day the first day we arrived, so it was pretty noisy in the afternoon. There are lots of restaurants in the area, and the staff are friendly and efficient.

It’s a beautiful hotel, the furniture is a little tired and I found the mattress to be quite firm. The sounds of neighbouring doors closing are quite loud.
