Highly recommended for first-time travelers to Mexico City! The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Historic Center, making it easy to walk to most major sightseeing spots. It's clean, comfortable, and quiet, with friendly and helpful staff. The 24-hour complimentary food and drinks (excluding some liquor), along with the continental breakfast, were a fantastic bonus—it felt like staying at an exclusive hotel.

This property was beautiful, accessible, and had so many benefits for the guests staying here. I love that the breakfast is full service, and the cafe is 24-hours and included in the stay. I love that refrigerated bottled water is available to the guests at any time. My biggest shout-out is to the staff, who were all so kind and genial, but particularly our night manager Axel. He was so helpful and kind, and he enjoyed giving us information on Mexican culture and sights, and we enjoyed his company so much. We had a very late check-in and had many late nights and he was always there to make our stay easy and comfortable. He wrote us a personal letter with a gift which was so kind of him. Please give him a big bonus!!!

First time in Mexico City, and I couldn't be happier for choosing this hotel. Central to everything for walking, or easy UBERs for things a little farther away. The concierges made excellent tour arrangements for us, at better prices than I'd found online. Wonderful free breakfasts, and 24/7 free cafe food. The latter included Cafe Mochas, Chai teas, great sandwiches, drinks, sweets, chips, etc. I loved the bowls of tortilla soup I had most nights. Everyone is so attentive of every need or want. Very safe area, with extra policia around each day and evening. A staff guard is stationed outside the door all night. Can't say enough good stuff about this hotel.

Extraordinary Stay!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Historico Central Hotel. Our stay was delightful in all ways - caring service, comfort, cleanliness, charm, a wonderful breakfast and complimentary espresso drinks, etc. provided all day long. Above all else, I was impressed with the compassion and generosity of Daniela, the Concierge. After telling Daniela about the one negative experience I had in Mexico City, she presented me with a gift to make me feel better!

I think it might be that my expectations were too high. I chose this hotel because it had very good reviews. The location is excellent if you want to visit the historic area. The room was very small, which was unexpected. Actually, there's nothing wrong with the hotel. I think it's just that my expectations were too high. The staff were very enthusiastic and nice.
