We were in town for a cheer competition and had never been to the city before. I will go with the not amazing parts first - if you want to park AT the hotel, it is valet only and an additional $32 per night. There is a parking garage across the street - we were there in winter, and my teen daughter brought the house with us - so walking back and forth, in the snow was a hard no. The GPS took us to where the apartment residents pull in to park - NOT where you go as a hotel guest for valet. We had to go around the block a few times until I finally figured out WHERE the valet was for the hotel - it is NOT well marked; even the hotel itself - there's only a small sign by the doors. When you are trying to navigate traffic, in the snow, thru one way streets and multiple stop lights, in a place you've never been - it was awful. Once I was finally inside to go check in, the woman at the front desk was NOT friendly.. at all. Maybe she was just having a bad day but, it was not a good first impression of the hotel. That all being said.. when we finally got to our room, WOW! The room more than made up for our rough start. It was HUGE! And SO nice. The height of the windows and ceiling, the layout, the bathroom, all was GREAT! Breakfast at the hotel was good. The lobby/breakfast area/seating area was clean and inviting.. in between competitions we hung out and chatted down there. Overall it ended up being a good stay in one of the nicest rooms I've been in!

We love this hotel for a number of reasons: spacious rooms with 12 ft ceilings, best continental breakfast, lounge area(s), easy parking, close to Xcel Center and Science Museum, and it's just an overall great hotel! Staff are always friendly and check in is a breeze!

I love this hotel! It’s a renovated post office so it has various curiosities from the past – super tall ceilings, wide hallways, old school doors, windows and elevators. One of the best complementary breakfasts I can recall (especially by current standards). They have a basic bar and dining counter, so other meal options are a little light. First stay was impressive. Will be back

First time staying here. The room was very nice and I loved the tall ceiling above the bed area and the floor to ceiling windows. The automatic drapes were a nice touch and the bathroom, especially the shower, was really nice. Probably the cleanest shower and best functioning shower in a hotel I have been in, in a long time. I really liked the property. Only wish it was more accessible and wasn't connected to the condo area. You can get some weird people outside and then that try to get inside.

Very Impressed

Very impressed with the rooms. Very big, high ceilings and quiet. The valet parking was something that was perfect for us. The front office people were very kind and funny. The snack bar and breakfast was included and it was in a setting of high standards. The price was small compared to other places of stay.
