The property is designed well and very beatiful. I saw some areas of disrepair, such as the shower stall in my room C608, which leaked water on the floor eachbtime someone took a shower. The ataff was excellent. They were always friendly, polite and ready to assist in any way. Entrrtainment was also good and choice of foods was good. I paticularly liked the Jamaican food day that we had.

I was disappointed that the second pool was not available the whole entire 4 days. They was currently repairing around the pool area. The property all around was very clean including the bathrooms. My boyfriend and I did a couples massage. Excellent. Spa area was inviting and relaxing. From the spa reception, to the locker room staff, and our massage therapists it was an amazing experience!! We had an oceanfront room and inside our bedroom was a slide door that lead outside to the balcony and what a gorgeous view we had. Our one bedroom suite came with a full kitchen, living room, one walk-in closet with a safe inside, 2 bathrooms, dishwasher, washer and dryer in the room, cold drinks inside the refrigerator, and a coffepot with coffee provided. The breakfast buffet every morning from 7-10am was while staffed and there was always plenty of food. Transportation was available which, cost from and to the resort $40 each time. Definitely will rent a car next time! Nightclub on-site 10pm-1pm my boyfriend and i enjoyed it. I want to give a huge shout out to all the staff but especially to TACKESHIA, TERESA, M&M (BEACH AREA), KEISHA (BEACH AREA), MARVIN, KADIAN, TAHEEM!! PEACE AND BLESSINGS! Beware when it comes to making reservations through a 3rd party website because our flight was delayed the first day so my boyfriend and I arrived a day later to the resort and expedia had canceled our reservation. We tried to contact the resort but found out we was given the wron #

This place did not live up to our expectations for an AI resort in Jamaica. Food and drinks were not great. Pool layout is not convenient and it was not kept clean enough. The kids play room was dated and boring though the lady there was great and played well with our son. The beach was a huge letdown. They did not keep it clean and tidy like other resorts do. Very sparse service on the beach too. This place was not wheelchair accessible. I messaged the property before our stay about being in the most wheelchair accessible building and they literally never even responded. The spa prices were high and since the rest of the property did not live up to our standards we didn’t even waste money on the spa treatments. Also our pull out bed had no mattress and was had to wait hours for one to be delivered. It didn’t fold into the couch so we had to have a giant mattress leaning against the wall the whole time if we wanted to use the tiny couch. It was the only seating aside from the dinner table and one very uncomfortable chair. We did have butler service and they did try to take good care of us.

We were really excited to stay here after reading so many great reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t match what we expected. We stayed for six days, and not once did anyone offer us drink service on the beach. On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, an employee walked by and asked if he could take the empty glasses from the drinks we had brought from the pool bar earlier. When the waiter was asked if he could take them, he said, “I can’t.” That really surprised us. We paid for an all-inclusive stay, but it didn’t feel that way — every time we wanted a drink, we had to go get it ourselves. The only person at the entire resort who consistently treated us wonderfully was Lacey at the shop. She was incredibly kind and helpful — we even spent almost $700 on gifts for our family because of her great service. Thank you again, Lacey, for all your help!

I really appreciate the privacy of the property, as it offers a secluded and peaceful environment. The room was large, measuring approximately 400 square feet, and had plenty of natural light flowing through the big windows, making it feel even more spacious and inviting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jewel Grande. The resort was well kept and the staff were polite and helpful. Our room was very nice and spacious with an amazing view of part of the resort and the ocean. The food was excellent everywhere we ate from the breakfast buffet to the lunch options and finally the dinners. It was peaceful and had the feel of a private resort and beach. We had an amazing time and we certainly come back.
