The property was beautiful, however the staff wasn’t the most attentive. Our butler didn’t provide us with our tote bag. The check-in staff was too busy talking to each other to ask how they could help us. On several occasions I found myself waiting for them to finish talking before I could request something. At one point, I just got tired of waiting and asked if they wanted us to come back. The Diamond Club ocean view suite was not ocean view. After checking in I requested to be moved to an ocean view room and showed them a picture of what I was expecting. I was told they can’t control third party pictures and if I wanted to know what their hotel looked like I couldn’t use Expedia. I then told them I also looked at the rooms in the Marriott Bonvoy app because I am a member. I was told that was not the right place to look either and that I had to look at Royalton’s app to see what their rooms looked like. I was put in a double bed instead of king which was requested. My husband and I had to sleep in separate beds while on vacation. This is the 3rd or 4th Royalton that I have stayed at(all Diamond Club luxury suites) but the 1st time I’ve had this type of experience.

I personally had a great time at the property, staff were nice, and attentive, there isn’t much to complain about other than a few small things like the water temperature in the shower going back and fourth from hot and cold. I do have to single out the employee Nabraska from the margarita bar. She made the overall experience at the property above and beyond and we hope to see her again when we come back. Thank you for the great vacation!

There was a mix up with my reservation. I’ve paid twice. The electricity went out I was suck on the elevator, I paid for a romantic dinner that was nothing like it was advertised. I requested for room decoration for a birthday that was not decorated but went in my room and left my door open. Had a poolside cabana that the jets on the pool did not

Ree Ree and Delroy were very helpful and friendly. The food was good but didn’t have ox tails. Hotel bed was uncomfortable. The spa experience was awesome. Overall, it was a nice resort.

My husband Michael and I are currently staying on the Hideaway side of Royalton Blue Waters from May 25–30, and we are writing to express our deep disappointment with this experience—especially as we came to celebrate two very important occasions: our wedding anniversary on May 26 and my birthday on May 27. We paid over $1,200 to upgrade to a Diamond Club room, expecting a luxury experience. Instead, our room was in poor condition: The shower glass was covered in soap scum Water was leaking from the toilet and sink, ruining some of our personal toiletry items The room size was extremely small, no better than a standard hotel room The Diamond Club service also fell far below expectations. We were accosted when simply trying to make a drink, and the butler service was nonexistent. At the restaurant, I was served undercooked salmon, and the dining room was so hot we could barely sit and enjoy our meal. Most disappointing of all: The anniversary was misrepresented and decorated on the wrong day My birthday was ignored entirely And no one on staff could give us contact information for a manager or person in charge. We have stayed at several Royalton resorts in the past and always had wonderful experiences. But this has been the worst vacation we’ve had in over a decade, and certainly not what we expected.

We recently stayed at Royalton for my best friends wedding! Overall… it was enjoyable! Stephen at the inside lobby bar on the hideaway side was fantastic. By the pool, Nadine made sure to take care of us when we saw her. Most of the time we had to get our own drinks - but a couple of the days the pool service was good. They should have more lunch options - mostly everything opens at 1230 for lunch which is late in my opinion.. The entertainment staff - very fun and energetic. Every night, something fun going on! The cons for me were it was impossible to get a dinner reservation, and the resort did not seem packed. Out of five days, we were only able to secure two reservations. Also, a lot of the staff did not seem very happy/welcoming.. We’re Mexico people - I feel they are just so nice. Hospitality is important to me. This location could work on that with the staff. Pool temps were fantastic and the views were beautiful. Calypso was fantastic. The welcome party for the bride and groom was perfection. All of the food was delicious and so many options!
