When we arrived we were dropped off by our taxi 4 blocks away since road was blocked off and had to walk through a construction area to get to hotel. We should have been notified ahead of this situation. The front door of the hotel was not accessible and had to find the back door to get in, which had no signage to identify. We arrived at noon since we had an early flight and requested an early check in. Our room wasn’t ready so we left and asked them to call us when it was ready. We had been up since 3 am and came back to hotel at 3:30 and watched them check in another couple. Our room was finally available 4;01, which is standard check in time. It seemed like they had an attitude that they weren’t going to let us check in early.

Staff was very helpful. Location is perfect for exploring the old port area of Montreal. Breakfast was solid, with free espresso drinks available throughout the day in case you missed the breakfast window. Room was very quiet even with street construction going on outside.

Light continental breakfast served. We chose to eat somewhere else . There was a lot of construction around the hotel so I would call before check in to get instructions of how to get in and parking options. It was very confusing at first . The area was great with shops, restaurants and cafes.

Great stay!

It was a fabulous stay. The staff was amazing, the ambience relaxed chill and the rooms were a beautiful mix of old world and contemporary. Only complaint was the inconvenience of major road construction directly in front of the hotel making access tricky. Not the fault of the hotel, however. They did their best to accommodate.

Gorgeous repurposed stone building in the cobblestone streets of old Montreal. Fresh breakfast and 24 hr free barista. We enjoyed borrowing the 2 bicycles for easy exploration of port and islands.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Le Petit Hotel! The "medium" room was still a generous size with a comfortable king bed and an amazing shower! The location in Old Town is very convenient for walking with fantastic restaurants just minutes away (Le Petit Dep across the street has fantastic pastries and coffee). The hotel notified us of the street work being done on Rue St Paul, which meant our taxi driver had to drop us off a block away. The work is obviously an eye-sore for what is usually a really cute, picturesque area. Thankfully even with a room facing the street, the construction noise wasn't too disruptive. I saw a sign stating the work was ongoing through December 2025, so keep that in mind when booking, but don't let it stop you from staying at this lovely little hotel! I would absolutely stay here again.

Although this is an expensive hotel it is very nice. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. The coffee in the lobby is a very nice touch. The staff are incredible. The amount of attention to details and the helpfulness was wonderful. Not once did we feel like we where an inconvenience. Thank you so much for a lovely stay Merci.
