Family friendly cabin with an exclusive view of a waterfall on the Okatoma River
"Great family stay with an amazing river viewWe really enjoyed our time at this cabin in Seminary. The standout feature of this location is it sits right on the banks of the Okatoma River, and having a direct view of the waterfall from the front porch was a nice bonus. We spent a lot of our time down at the waterfall getting to watch the kayakers wipe out while trying to take on the rapids & kids catch a nice haul of bass at/under the waterfall. Even though the cabin is tucked away from anyone else, it still has a dollar general within 5 minutes, large gas station 10 minutes and downtown Hattiesburg 25 minutes. The two bedrooms are a good size, and the large loft was perfect for giving the kids their own space to sleep. It has all the practical things you need, like central AC, washer and dryer, pots/pans, utensils, towels, gas gril, and etc.Between the walking trails, fishing, and swimming, there was plenty to keep everyone occupied outside. The kids especially loved kayaking down the waterfall, which was the highlight of their trip! It is a comfortable, scenic spot for a family looking to get away for a few days. We will book again when we plan another trip to Seminary. Also, the host was very quick to respond to any questions had. Overall great experience"
