A peaceful stay

I was pleasantly surpized, I came here to relax and sit in sun while reading books, and thats what i did. THE view was beautiful, Rooms were a great size had everything i needed, staff were wonderful, You cant drink the water but they supplied watet bottles each day and more if u needed them, Its less than 10mins from the airport, and the beach was beautiful so i always sat there under the umbrellas instead of round pool.. it was very quiet, not too many visitors so just so peaceful. The food was average quality nothing fancy but i found things i liked. I had a 90min massage which was very well priced at Hotel. I did a day tour with someone i met while there we had a lovely day, stopping at all the hitspots of Samoa, it takes a while to druve around the island thats for sure.. we visited and snorkled with the Giant Clams, saw the waterfall, went to the Ocean Trench.. Drive through Apia but didnt stop.. much more built up than i exoected... The Samoans realky look aftervthere island they take pride in how it looks as u drive around..

Great food location and great breakfast. Services in the bar not so well I waited for at lease 30 mins for my change and food I almost forgot my oka was never served while we were at the pool ! Also out of tequila and other alcohol on a Friday night .😏🤔🤔🤔first time was no where near as good as before

Facilities were great. Unfortunately, reception lady gave us key cards that didn’t work, as she had written the wrong room number. Which led to at least 15mins waiting outside, for new cards ro be issued! No apologies. No offer of a cold drink (32 degrees)! After a long day of travelling to get there, this was not a good start. The rest of the staff were amazing, and the pool area and dining areas are nice.

Great place to relax

Lovely place for a relaxing break. Having Cocktails at the pool bar was a perfect way to unwind in the afternoon. Can be a bit tricky to find a free sun lounger by the pool. But there are plenty of other places to sit nearby. Staff are genuinely friendly and relaxed. And its only 5 minutes from the airport.

I would like to see some of our local villages bring in some of their handmade art/craft to sell. Give back to the community. Like mini market stalls that way tourist can look, buy in the convenience of the resort grounds. Like to see more local cuisine on the menu for the tourist to taste the lovely organic food/produces that the island has to offer. Overall the resort itself is beautiful just need Management/staff to think of ways/things for tourist to do/eat so they will go away with great memories and experiences that will bring them back and tell others who haven't come to Samoa it's an island paradise to book in for your next holiday destination.

After visiting Fiji for the previous two years we decided to venture a little further this year to Samoa and chose the Sheraton due its location on the coast. We flew in super early in the morning and found the airport transfer a little confusing but eventually found our way to the resort in the early hours of the morning. When we arrived at our ground floor room we found it to be quite large and with beautiful views to the ocean only metres away. Breakfast was a nice buffet with plenty of choices. The made to order omelette was the highlight. Post breakfast, our days were spent splitting our time between the pool and nearby beach. We liked that there was plenty of umbrellas and lounges and it was relatively easy to order food and drinks this area. But we felt the resort could do with some more activities such as kayaks and ISUPs. The lunch and dinner menus were nice but we felt after a few days that it did become a little bit repetitive. We organised a full day trip through the front desk which wasn't cheap but ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. One thing I would advise people to be careful off is during the check-in process. We were overcharged by about $200aud and despite speaking to the manager twice, I got nowhere. So I would advise you to have really clear and easy read documentation regarding your booking and any extras and costs. I would also allocate some extra money as the conversion rate used by the hotel was much higher than what I could find.
