Does exactly what it says!

I was looking for a cheap, clean and comfortable hotel in a central location and hotel Elphinstone ticked all the boxes. I had a very late night check in which I informed the hotel about and there were not any issues when I arrived, smooth check in with a complimentary bottle of water and crisps while I waited for my passport to be copied, 5 mins max, was shown to my room which was comfortable and clean with all the amenities you would expect from a budget hotel. I would say that the area isn't fantastic but hey it's Mumbai and at no point did I feel unsafe and the hotel staff and surrounding bars and restaurants had great service. Don't be put off by the outside and entrance to the hotel as once your inside its a lot more modern, all in all, cheap, cheerful and clean with great staff, what more do u need from a budget hotel?!
