This place was great. The staff was so friendly and the room was beautiful. Location, location, location! We were right in the middle of the quarter, a short walk to everything and could watch the Mardi Gras from right outside our door.

i stay at diff. hotels in and out of Japan about 30 times a year, usu. pay USD300-1000 per nite. Andrew Jackson is the worst experience for this price (USD500). front desk (two) unprofessional or ineffective. arrived at 1545, waited til 1630 and room still not ready. didn't wait and went to the room. 1710 the bed sheets finally arrived. no hairdryer, no water or coffee, phone not working, furniture worn with many knobs and handles broken. never going again.

Great historic hotel. Friendly staff. Good location in the French Quarter but not on Burbon. We liked Royal Street better. Walkable distance to streetcar lines, which are cheap and easy to use for further travel.

Everything at The Andrew Jackson was amazing, including Leroy, the general manager, who went above and beyond. We arrived 2 days late because of weather related flight cancellations, he held our room and even gave us complimentary late checkout. He gave great food recommendations and shared some of his experience with ghosts, which is one of the main reasons we booked here. The hotel was great, clean, high end, the courtyard was magical, and you can’t beat the location. It’s our 5th time going to New Orleans and from now on, we’ll only stay here. Leroy is the man, thank you for everything!!

Went over 36 hours without a working toilet. My wife had 4 pair of panties come up missing. Had to change rooms 12 hours before checking out the next morning. The lication was good.

Leroy at the front desk was great!!! The cleaning could have been better but it was okay. She made sure we had clean sheets and towels daily. The building needs repairs, like the porch seems like it will collapse soon. The Owner stopped providing coffee in the lobby
