Overall good experience. Clean room and great location. Best benefit for us was free parking in a central location. Regarding parking we were able to find available parking each time we went in and out, that being said we did see multiple times the parking lot completely full so there is the possibility you may not get free parking. Additionally for a tip when you check and want parking you need to check in and get your key first, in order to check in you need all guests passports.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast served was buffet style. There was a variety of choices. The room was comfortable and clean. There was no dresser, so be prepared for that. However, there was plenty of space to put a suitcase to live from that and there was a tall shelving unit that you could use to store items. Be aware, while in the room you will need to put a room key in a slot for your lights to work. This was my first time encountering that, but it was not a problem. The only negative, and this will matter ONLY if you must be able to fill the sink to clean something, you cannot stop the sink. I use a CPAP and should clean some components daily. It was difficult to do that. Would the negative stop me from staying there if I was in Reykjavik again? NO - it would not! I would stay there again.

Overall a great stay! The property had a large comfy bed, kettle, table space and chairs. The included breakfast from 7-10 was good with variety and when we had to check out early in the morning, we could request a breakfast bag to go. Good blackout curtains though room can be a bit dark. Only downsides were early check in wasn't available and the water pressure is a bit low.

Clean. Nice property. Parking garage with limited spaces under property. Easy walk to shopping and food. The staff were very organized, polite, and helpful. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever experienced. Lots of healthy options. The room did not have a fan in the bathroom so showering steamed up the whole room. The unit didn’t have air conditioning, and that is understandable, but it only had 1 small window to open so the room was always warm. They provided both towels and hand towels but no washcloths to bathe with.

Had the most amazing drying rack/radiant heat on the walls in the bathroom. We were able to dry all our wet stuff from a hot springs visit plus jackets and gloves from spring showers before having to pack up and head home. Bed was firm, pillows nice. Parking was crowded. Breakfast was really yummy with a good variety. Hotel in quiet area but close enough to shops and church and all in downtown.

Very different than pictures. Rooms have items that are just worn out. Low quality items consistent with lower grade hotels. Just not sure how ratings work but it’s really far from a 4 star so maybe 2 star would describe better. Parking is free but not enough for all the guests so don’t count on it. Breakfast was nice and staff in the breakfast area were very friendly and helpful. The high point of the hotel. Double check that you want to be in the neighborhood.

Property was great, staff was awesome but it is little bit of walk from the main city area. Best perk was having free parking. If the weather is not in your favor the 10-12 min walk to main bars and restaurant could be challenging. There are hotels located closer to the main area.

A good location near plenty of restaurants and comfortable modern rooms. Parking available which was good, only bug bear was having to check-in before being able to enter the underground car park which was a bit of hassle as there are only 4 dedicated hotel spaces outside, so pot luck if you get one of those before checking in. Good breakfast included with plenty of selection.

Appreciated the location and parking garage, but overall our stay here was a poor experience. The room was dark and very small, and despite the bathroom being huge, the black decor made it very difficult to see. In addition, the counter in the bathroom was falling apart, and the shower was recessed into the floor. The dark tile on the floor and walls made it very difficult to see the shower floor, causing a serious trip hazard. There were no doors or curtains on the shower, so water went everywhere all over the bathroom. Terrible design.
