It was very easy to find and centrally located. The bed was very comfortable. An excellent supper and breakfast with free drinks in the evening were included in the price of our stay. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

solid hotel choice

pros: away from the main tourist areas but only ~ 10min walk there. comfortable king bed. lots of space in the 1 bedroom suite. good selection for free breakfast. kitchen open late. everyone is very nice. fair nightly price for the value. con: poor water pressure, bathtub backed up during shower. sink backed up while brushing teeth. no sunlight in the room we had.

A good solid older style hotel experience

We booked here as options during Mardi Gras were limited. While it was rather tired, it was overall a good experience. Breakfast and evening drinks/snacks were targeted at a more mass audience, but served us well enough. Location for parades was good, and an easy walk to key sights. Service was very helpful.

Upon arrival, the staff was extremely nice and attentive. The room was great. The furniture could use some cleaning, but it was nice outside of that. No mold smell, which is something I've experienced staying in New Orleans several times. The complementary breakfast and kickback was such a nice addition. I will stay here again.
