Pretty sure I had bed bugs. The place was filthy and I now have bites over my body and can’t stop scratching. Either they’re bed bugs or I had a reaction but the timing seems like bed bugs.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The beds are super uncomfortable. The insulation in the walls and door are horrible, we were kept up all night the whole time we stayed there due to people slamming their room doors and talking super loud walking down the hall. There were many nights we didn't get to actually get to sleep until after 4 or 5 am. I would not stay here again.

Stayed here for the Zulu Ball, location was perfect due to be 2 blocks from the convention center. Parking was a hassle and the Valet parking lot filled up fast, ended up having to park across the street for a higher price but it was Mardi Gras time so what could you expect. Never got room service and room was never cleaned but it’s all good.

Your site is misleading about the parking! Hugh drawback is how expensive the parking is!! Make it clear that there is no parking for this hotel accept velvet and it’s 47.00 a night!!!

Nice hotel; luck of the draw with other guests

The property was clean and staff was pleasant, but it was too close to Bourbon Street and attracted late night guests who disrupted two nights and failed to quiet down. Not the hotel's fault, but can't recommend this location if you're business traveler working all day and needing a quiet night.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was very dirty, vomit on the curtain’s dispersed fluids all over the room. The curtain is broken, easy fix never repaired small cracks on the ceiling of the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom that is supposed to work as a filtration system was broken. We reported this to the employees & manager who said it would be taken care of & it never was. Horrible sewage like smells kept coming through the vents. Broken closet door hinges .I stayed in room 247 disappointed they respond, but don’t do the Job. Cleaning crew is horrible, spoke to the cleaning crew & front desk to request the cleaning service daily. Never happened. We would have to chase the cleaners down in the hallways to specifically ask for cleaning and simple changes of towels . I also had a black light. The stains are still visible even without it, very disgusting. I could only sit on one chair in the room, which was the computer chair by the TV. The other chairs very filthy! Very dirty! The only thing that was clean in this room were the towels and the bed. The food I ate was also disgusting. They have crab cake sliders listed it was burnt buns with no toppings lettuce tomato nothing. The crab cake itself burnt grease that definitely wasn’t crab. I swear it was potatoes or some imitation bs. Disgusting! Fries were the only redeeming thing and the remoulade sauce. Mozzarella sticks tasted like frozen out of the box half microwaved radiation.

Solid location, not too far away from the popular spots, but not in all the action (a good thing). Enjoyed that it was relatively quiet. Breakfast buffet seemed very expensive for what it was as well as the valet parking (recommend parking on your own).
