everything about the hotel was good, from the staff to the room, especially the rooftop pool but only thing i didn’t like was you have to pay extra for parking, i feel like parking should be free after you book the room… also, the balcony doors should be able to open, no point of the balcony if you can’t access it

When arriving there was an issue with boarding, but that was kind of expected as we went through a third party, which can happen sometimes, and our stay was during Mardi Gras. They were able to get us a room eventually and the one offered was in great condition. We had all the expected amenities as well as a neat and tidy room. The staff was very kind a welcoming, we had great service, and I appreciated the security guards presence as well as their accommodation with holding our bags while we waited for the room.

We stayed at Holiday Inn while in NOLA for Mardi Gras week. The room was nice and clean. The staff was helpful. However, I would not recommend prepaying for the breakfast during a peak season as there were days were he had to wait over two hours to be seated and be served our meal. The breakfast voucher is worth $20, so if you order anything from the menu with a higher price (which is most things), you will have to pay the difference out of pocket. The breakfast voucher is worth it if you order the full breakfast which is two eggs; choice of grits, potatoes or fruit; choice of breakfast meat; a slice of toast and choice of beverage. Food was okay, although they got our order wrong 2/6 days. Best thing about the place is it’s close walking distance to Bourbon street, Canal streets and the French Quarter.
