Room is very nice and it is in prime location. However, our room was located nearest to the fence back door and all we heard was it slamming shut many times while we were in the room during the day and night. Otherwise, everything was great!

It’s not fancy - but I don’t like and didn’t want that - I prefer places with history over run to the mill, drywalled compartment rooms. the staff was friendly, check in and out was simple, the room was perfect for me - clean, cozy, comfortable bed. The location is great - not directly in the quarter so it was pretty quiet and walkable. If I’m in Nola again, I would definitely return to this hotel.

We had asked the front desk from day one for towels to block the 1 inch gap under the door as bugs were coming in and we didn't want to be extra and ask for a new room. We were told that due to the rainy day, the hotel was out of extra towels and was promised more but never got them. We ended up using one of our own face towels and one of the towels provided by the hotel upon our arrival to block the gap. The hotel accidentally took our face towel when they came to clean up the next day, but we still heard nothing about the solution for the gap. We found a dead millipede in our bathroom the one day the new hotel towels were placed on the bed and not the bathroom. It was an overall confusing experience that left us wishing the hotel had been more clear on the room layout and location.
