We loved the area super close to all the great jazz music on Frenchmen Street, that’s the main reason I stayed there. Walkable to other areas too, like Royal Street and Bourbon, but also far enough from all the crazy stuff on Bourbon. Lots of shopping and places to eat close by too.

Lamothe House was absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location! It was a short walk to the French quarter but it felt like you lived in your own neighborhood among the locals. Felt like staying in a time capsule with excellent staff, a beautiful courtyard and kind helpful staff.

Make sure you have proper walking shoes. Frenchmen and Decatur Streets are about a block away. Plenty of shopping and restaurants to eat at. The suite was very nice and spacious. The entire staff is wonderful! Will definitely return and stay at the Lamothe House Hotel. Thank You Miss Carol❤️
