Breakfast was good, but there was confusion with a “breakfast included” rate booked through Hotels.com. The front desk initially did not see this in their system and asked me to contact the third-party platform. The issue was resolved later, but communication could have been better. Overall, everything was wonderful. We loved the city and everything at the hotel was wonderful with the exception of an interaction with one of the concierges. We went to the concierge desk on Saturday morning to ask about the tour credit. We were basically told the we had to pay attention to what had been said to us at check in and that we did not listen to what was told to us. Now, I have worked a customer facing for 20 years, I know how to treat customers. There could have been a much better way to handle that situation. Customers need to be treated with respect and with dignity, especially if you are a gatekeeper of tourism in the city. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
