Just a bit frustrating asked for a box of tissue and it took 2 days after several times for a box to be brought. The box in our room was empty upon checking in.

The hot water was lukewarm at best and the restaurant downstairs is not affiliated with the hotel. The parking is also $46 a night and 3 blocks from the hotel. This is definitely a no thrills hotel but i guess the price matched the stay accommodations.

The bed was so comfortable and it was peaceful and employees were very friendly and professional
Everything was great except for the parking. Be careful when you park in their designated lot, you may get booted like us and another guest did, due to poorly marked star and reserved spots.
We stayed a week. I've never seen a hotel or motel that didn't at least provide a list of nearby places to eat. There was no breakfast, and the desk clerk knew nothing about the area.
Maid service was offered once, halfway through our stay. We bagged & carried our trash downstairs and were told to leave it in the lobby.
The room was nice, but noisy (the trolley runs all night.) Parking was a couple of blocks away.
I experienced an unexpected ordeal at The Lafayette hotel when my vehicle was immobilized by a wheel boot despite having paid for the hotel’s parking service. Another guest faced the same frustrating situation with their car in the same parking area. After discovering the boots on our vehicles, we each had to pay $120 to have the devices removed. When we approached the hotel staff for assistance or compensation, we were met with an unhelpful response of “sorry, nothing we can do,” leaving both of us frustrated and out of pocket for what appeared to be an error in the parking enforcement system. The incident highlighted poor communication between the hotel and its parking management, ultimately resulting in paying customers like myself being penalized and receiving no support from the establishment we had chosen to stay with.
