Quiet but then not so quiet
The hotel was what I expected. I booked it because we wanted to be close to the British museum and it was a decent price. It definitely needs a facelift and could use some updating. The staff were good enough to give me a room in what was deemed to be the “quiet” part of the hotel and the first night was quiet. However the second night, they hosted some kind of boxing match in the big room on the bottom floor. We watched dozens of young men in their boxing clothes head off into that room and then listened to the thumping bass music from their match until midnight. We were on the second floor. I can’t imagine what it was like on the first floor. So if you are wanting a quiet room, request your room in advance. Ask for the quiet side and then ask for the highest floor they can put you in. That’s my advice for you. That and have a noise maker app on your phone or some ear plugs.
A perfect stay for our girls weekend away , we arrived earlier than our check in time but they let us check in so we could leave our luggage before heading off to the ABBA Arena - will be doing a return visit next year
Location was great. We ended up walking to most places like Soho and Covent Garden. But you still had the option of jumping on the Tube with several stations nearby. The hotel itself is very bare bones. No in room fridge, no ironing board, no luggage racks available in room. Tiny in room TV. Basically a room with beds and bathroom. Front desk had no sitting area. Staff was helpful and friendly. Overall good stay in London, clean and it was an affordable option for a no frills hotel.

It was centrally located in London, also closed to subway stations.
This hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious and very modern. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 out of 5 is the rooms were very hot and there is no air conditioning. I can’t image how hot the room would have been in the summer.
Loved our stay at this hotel and would definitely stay here again! Breakfast was delicious - possibly the best English breakfast I’ve had at a hotel in a long time. Tasty sausages, thick bacon and scrambled egg that’s actually cooked and not runny! We arrived at the beginning of May during the ‘mini heatwave’ so the lack of air-con in the room was the only downfall for us :-)
The hotel is convenientally situated a couple of minutes walk from the tube. We got a triple (single beds) room which worked well. You could hear traffic at night but that's to be expected in central London. Breakfast was the usual buffet style, we had no trouble getting seated and the food was filling for a busy day ahead. The hotel has a luggage store for customers which was really useful if you arrive early or want to explore a bit more after checking out.

Good, safe, clean hotel in a busy area which is noisy both at night and in the morning. Still fine to get sleep but not to sleep in :)
Great location for access to London sights.
Decent hotel in a great location but I will say the outside road noise was really loud even with the window closed!

For the location, this is a good value hotel. Close to two main national train stations, a 15-20 minute walk from soho and plenty of tube stations around for wider london travel.
