My first trip to NYC was met with skepticism but the entire staff at Aliz was amazing. Anything I needed they were great and accommodating. Easily walkable to sites like Macy's, Empire State Building and others. I would gladly stay here again

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was pretty clean and we didn’t have any major issues overall. The elevator was a hassle since we ended up on the 39th floor and it would take us 15 minutes get down to the lobby every morning. They only had one elevator operating some of the days. You also get 2 drink coupons, but we could never use them because the bar closed so early and the rooftop bar didn’t take them. There were so many restrictions with the rooftop bar it was a hassle to get up there too. You had to sign up and be let in, even though it wasn’t crowded and they close at 1, but won’t let people in past 11 I was told when I tried to go at 11:30. The area around the hotel was fine and it’s in a convenient location, but for some reason a lot of people congregate right next to the hotel door at night and it made us feel unsafe at times. It’s right next to the port authority and the train station, so a lot of people were hanging around that came from there. I would stay there again due to price and convenient location, but don’t expect a 5 star resort.

The staff were very friendly and prompt for check-in. I was nervous about the elevators because I had seen a review saying they were slow, but I did not experience that at all. The room was very updated and really clean and the view was amazing! Breakfast was Sufficient and tasty.

I stayed here for my best friend’s 30th birthday! In total there were 4 of us. The front desk staff during check in was extremely friendly and kind. They had great recommendations and clearly communicated all the “need to know” information. The staff quickly responded when we needed assistance in our room and were in and out within one minute. The staff truly made this experience all the better! The room was beautiful and comfortable. We needed the key to use the elevator to go to any level aside from ground floor. This made us feel so much safer in the city!

Lovely property. Close to everything. Rooftop bar is also beautiful. Only thing I didn’t love was the bedding. I was hoping for something more comfortable and soft. Other than that, great stay overal!

I recently stayed at Aliz Hotel for the Big East tournament, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, Brandon and Karin was incredibly welcoming and ensured a smooth check-in process. The lobby was elegant, with stunning views that immediately set the tone for a great stay.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We arived early and they held or bag while went out to see our play(Harry Potter) When the play was done we went back to the hotel and our room was ready. A nice clean ans modern room. The only thing I would have to say is that I wish there social spaces were a bit larger. The lobby bar bartender Jorge is fanastic a knowledgeable But there are only 3 seats there. We had our breakfast there in a very spacious area called farm to burger. Located past the lobby bar. We thought why would they not combine the bar and area in there. The dining room was pretty empty for a Saturday night. Since it was a chilly night. The lobby bar and the lounge upsatirs ( Dear Irving on Hudson Rooftop Bar)was packed with nowhere to sit. Another small area with beautiful views but limited seating due to the amount of peolple. Personaly I would close the lobby bar and restaurant at a certain hour then combine them. They have very comfortable seating and space that would handle a larger group of people. Combine that with a late night small menu with cocktails and food. Just my opinion. But over all it was a fantasic stay and we would return

The welcoming hotel credits to use for a drink at the bar and the $25 token credit was a bonus! Very friendly staff, the bell/baggage staff helped so much with access to my belongings when needed and keeping items safe! Clean and accommodating for our party of two rooms. Very walkable for our Broadway theatre shows and TD Garden event. Thank you!

Overall, my stay at Aliz was mediocre. The room was quite small, and there seemed to be little to no insulation between the walls, as my girlfriend and I could hear everything in both the hallway and the room next to us. However, I must highlight that the hotel is in a very convenient location — just a 5-minute walk to Times Square and a 3-minute walk to the subway. I also appreciate the hotel for holding our luggage after we checked out, as we had a night flight.
