We were 3 generations on a trip to NYC and this was our first time trying this small chain of hotels. We were very pleased - great location (a bit quieter perhaps as off the main stree) and very easy to walk to Broadway shows, shops, restaurants and the metro; very friendly and helpful staff; we opted for the breakfast plan and were very happy we did as it was convenient and delicious - we were there 5 mornings, and I still didn't get to try all of the dishes. The offerings were filling, varied, and fresh, with generous portions and good coffee. It can be a bit noisy if you are on the lower floors in the evening as the lounge is busy and the atrium-style lobby means the noise carries, but it is quiet by 23h.

The interior of the hotel is very nicely decorated clean and smelt amazing staff was professional and kind. I stood in the balcony room which is a good feature in the summer time to have the access however as I stood in February I didn’t get much use of it. I was hoping for at least a nice view but unfortunately the balcony is onlooking another building so unless you will be visiting during the warmer season there is no need for it. I also stood here on a staycation and would say this hotel is a better fit for those who wouldn’t be spending much time in the room as it is a small space and doesn’t have a microwave. Other than that it was a pleasant stay
