Not terrible, not great...

Not great, but not terrible - hardly a great endorsement of the hotel, but a reasonable assessment. Cleaning staff and doormen were top notch, as were the team working in the cafe. Check in staff were disinterested. The exterior of the hotel is currently being worked on, so it is covered in scaffolding and netting. I booked a City View room which, whilst technically showing the building across the road, didn't provide much light or view, and bore little resemblance to the images on the hotel website. Can't really recommend it, unless you get a great deal on price. More a 3.5 star hotel than a true 4.

VERY nice hotel and in a great location. Felt very safe and comfortable. Only disappointment was the hotel advertised outside seating terrace overlooking the city and that is why we picked the hotel. We were a family of 8 traveling from FL and NC to meet to enjoy NY City together and we looking forward to evenings on the open terrace together. That was VERY dissapointing to us. Otherwise, the hotel was great.

I absolutely love this hotel. This is the second time I’ve stayed here. It’s clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. Lenny was always there to help track down a cab and answer questions. He recommended car service to JFK and Eduardo helped us arrange it. The location is exceptional. We had delicious meals at Serafina twice. This is definitely my go to NYC hotel!

It's a beautiful property, the lobby is chic and stylish with the bar area. I've stayed here a few times and every time the staff goes all out to ensure a good stay. Great location in a nice neighborhood and close to the Beacon Theater where we were going. Will be back sooner than later!
