The rooms are actually very basic at check in they gave us a room that unfortunately was not very well inspected by housekeeping we found a cockroach on the floor to me that’s not acceptable for the amount of money paid for the room. The front desk staff very polite and nice . Shower head not much of a water pressure. All in all a good stay lastly the location is excellent a true manhattan neighborhood without being in the middle of all the touristic action

Bathroom was teeny tiny which was really my only gripe. This is not unusual for NYC, so not a real problem. Bed was comfy and hotel had a lovely bar downstairs. Overall a very nice stay!

Gem on the Upper West Side

A great hotel on the Upper West Side. I have been staying here for the past few years when I come to New York. It’s close to a subway stop, next to 2 restaurants & has a lovely cafe on the first floor. The staff & service are top notch.
