So it’s a fine enough place with decent accommodations. Just not the most comfortable bed and although it was a king, there were only three pillows so my husband got two and only had one and was pretty much uncomfortable all night. And then in the morning there, we noticed there were only two full-size towels, and I usually need to one for my body and one for my hair, but he needed one too, so I couldn’t wash my hair so an extra pillow and an extra blanket seems pretty standard in every other hotel that I’ve stayed in, which is quite a few. There are so many fabulous places in New York. I probably won’t go back.

The room was a decent size for a NY hotel, but didn't look at all like the picture. Also there was construction so the window was blocked by scaffolding. Finally, the room was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. After a couple of attempts to get this resolved this was remedied and the hotel did fairly compensate for that inconvenience. However, I noticed that guests were leaving glassware on the window sill in the hallway. None of this was cleaned up during our three day stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic area, walkable and convenient to the subway, good restaurants and a drug store.

Quite the disappointment. This is a Super 8 posing as an upscale hotel. My partner and I had booked the hotel some time in advance seeing that it had good reviews and well priced. Unfortunately, the experience falls short. Our Broadway View room was blocked by construction scaffolding. There was no warning or notice either. We were told to keep the blinds closed from 8AM-6PM. Worse yet, we were woken by the construction work drilling directly outside our room on multiple days of the trip. Front Desk staff were not helpful and offered no solutions. The cleaning staff and doorkeepers were kind at least. The rooms, amenities, and restaurants + cafe are forgettable. There is better coffee and food steps away in any direction on the UWS. The elevators in this place are shockingly bad. If you’re on anything higher than the 11th floor, be prepared to wait 5+ minutes. There are four elevators, but at least two were not working at all times. Only one of the working elevators goes above 11. A worker said: “See you in twenty years” to a co-worker as a full elevator passed him by. In short, you’d be better to choose one of the other nearby hotels at better prices. Save your money and buy yourself some Broadway tickets and a great meal elsewhere. You’ll avoid all the pretentious and rude hotel guests that smatter the lobby as a bonus. Don’t get me started on the “Resort Fees”…

We've stayed before and it was just okay, but we didn't make the effort to find a new place. This time, we received a really run-down room. Many of the outlets were broken, light bulbs weren't working. Even with all the lights on, it was not possible to read. The internet was not sufficient to conduct a zoom call. There is really no place to put suitcases, and no furniture to put clothes.

The whole hotel had a scaffold around it because there was work being done to the façade, so one could not open the blinds or see the view. The bathroom was dirty, and there was not enough staff to take care of those who were checking in. I will never stay here again.
