Breakfast was very lackluster. Cereal packets, bagels, muffins and small omelettes wrapped in plastic were the choices. There was an annoying whirring sound that would stop and start throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep.
This hotel is fabulous. I’m from this area and we’ve never had a nice hotel. The only other one in the vicinity is an old, run down filthy best western.
The room smelled clean, everything was bright and fresh. The staff was very friendly and polite. The hotel itself is safe, the doors lock at night and you can only enter with a key.
They have a nice complimentary grab and go breakfast with a 24hr fresh grind and brew coffee station that also had water and club soda. There’s a mini market at the front desk that had beverages, snacks and emergency essentials like advil/tums etc.
Traveling in Brooklyn is so easy, you can download the NY transit app to see how the trains and buses work. (I don’t recommend the train until the city cleans itself up more, that’s not safe) the buses are fine.
We walked everywhere. As long as it’s weather permitting, the whole neighborhood is walkable.
This is my go to hotel from now on. A
Property was great staff friendly however there’s no parking in the area and the garage they have only hold 5-6 cars and can’t be oversized $30 a night.
