Ich kenne das Hotel schon seit vielen Jahren, vor dem großen Umbau, als es noch zu einer anderen Kette gehörte. Deshalb war mit die Gegend bekannt, mir war klar, dass man ein Stück mit dem Bus fahren muss, um zur nächsten Subway-Station zu kommen usw., mir hat das nichts ausgemacht. Das Hotel selbst wirkt ganz oberflächlich betrachtet modern und clean. Schaut man ein bisschen genauer hin, sieht man die vielen Schäden … Meine Türe war ziemlich defekt, in allen Ecken war es schmutzig, in einem Stabel angeblich frischer Handtücher fand ich einen Klumpen schwarzer Haare. Ich habe selbst alles komplett desinfiziert und geputzt. Am vorletzten Tag wurde ich von der Rezeption angerufen, ich war gerade dabei mich auf den Weg in die City zu machen, mir wurde gesagt, dass ich gestern nicht erreichbar gewesen wäre - ja, ich verbringe meine Tage in NY nicht im Hotel, vor allem nicht wenn es nicht sauber ist ;D und sie hätten gerne, dass ich jetzt auschecke, woanders übernachte und morgen wieder einchecke. Neiiiiiiiiiiiiiin, das ist nicht möglich, meine Zeit ist anders verplant. Da wurde wohl überbucht und mit wenig Verständnis reagiert, wenn man sich als Gast nicht stressen lassen will.
