Say "yes to the dress" weekend

We arrived at the hotel at 11am in hopes of just having them store our luggage and much to our surprise our room was ready and they let us check-in early. Very accommodating at the front desk. Any staff member we came in contact with was very professional and friendly. We had great evening at the roof top bar as well, and staff super attentive and friendly.

The fridge did not work in the room. All furniture worn and dingy. Because the fridge was broken we inquired where the ice machine was. Front desk pointed to the bar and said we could get ice there… on a Saturday night. The bar was packed. Last thing i wanted to do was go into a busy bar and get a cup of ice.

Loud hallways that smell like weed

Hallway reeked of marijuana our entire stay. The rooms are not soundproof at all. Our neighbors kept us up until 2am and doors were slamming in the hallway. The rooms are out of date and the furniture is chipped, scratched, and dented. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The reviews did not match our experience at all. The bar was nice, good drinks and friendly bartenders, that was the best part.

PARKING AND CHECKING IN MUST BE IMPROVED

Everything was Good except 2 things: the first thing was NO where to Park to Checkin and NO info about where to go Park in their website, we got info after checkin. The second this was Checkin process, my husband went in, reservation was under my name BUT I had to send my husband a picture of my ID card via phone even though he had the reservation email!! Ridiculous to do that when we both had the same last name & he showed his ID card!!

A place to sleep

It was a good place to sleep. Surprisingly there wasn’t a lot of noise from the elevator next to our room. Nothing really special about it. The room looked like it needed updating. It also needed more outlets and a trashcan for the room(the only trashcan was in the bathroom.) The staff were friendly, and the connecting restaurant was delicious. It was close to where we needed to go. Would be willing to stay again, if we ever come back to NY.

Beat up room

The room was beaten down, furniture was missing paint. One of the lamps didn’t work, and the mini fridge was not in use. However the bathroom was clean and modern which we appreciated.

Good experience. Excellent location. Safe to walk around times square and Rockefeller Center areas. Many subways accesses just around the block. Overall I feel satisfied after staying in there.

Property is in need of renovation. Furniture worn and broken, lights didn’t work, base boards filthy, windows leaked water, mini fridge didn’t work, house keeper was pushy and took away a dessert I brought back from dinner. Staff was nice and it was in a convenient location.
