There were some definite positives to staying at this hotel, which include a close proximity to Broadway and time square. Down side, some of the surroundings were questionable with homeless and visible drug use. Our room had two issues: 1st we booked a room with city views. The view from our room was the side of a dirty broken down building and some rusty water towers, so a little false advertising as far as city views. 2nd there were only 3 working outlets in the room (one of them was in the bathroom). All of the other outlets did not work, which did make it challenging to charge our devices.

, they send a cleaning lady right away to vacuum. The staff is wonderful and did their best to accommodate me, including changing my room and allowing me to check out and hour later. The hotel will benefit from some contemporary upgrade.

The staff at this hotel elevates the rating! Front desk staff, including Jalissa, Jonathan and Karen were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast hostesses were always pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast selections are typical and plentiful. Room was comfortable, quiet and dark. Port Authority location gives easy access to everything and felt completely safe even walking late at night. Uber shuttle from/to LGA was $9.99 each way and very convenient drop off/pick up only two blocks away. Plenty of great restaurants within blocks of the hotel in Hell’s Kitchen. Highly recommend for this level hotel. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was okay, the staff friendly. But the hotel itself was a bit outdated and the breakfast more Motel-level. I found it way overpriced for the season and given that it wasn't super close to Times Square. All in all okay-ish. Wouldn't necessarily stay there again for that price.

Great stay. Staff were super friendly. Let us check in 3 hrs early. Not many other hotels would do that. 20 min walk from Penn station 5 min walk to uber shuttle from port authority > JFK Would definitely recommend and would stay again

There was always mounds of trash right outside entrance. Seemed like there would be a better place for trash. The door to our room did not shut all the way. Sometimes it did sometimes it didn't. Thankfully the security latch worked. No microwave in room. Refrigerator was froze up did not cool. Bed was extremely hard. Had to use a heating pad to be able to sleep. Staff was nice with exception of breakfast staff. Breakfast area was non stop busy. Not a big enough area and the selection was a joke and never changed. There was an elderly man holding onto a chair because he had trouble standing in line so long, and attendant pulled it away saying she needed it only to just put it back at the table where no one was sitting. Thankfully other guests and myself helped him get what he wanted. Of course with so many people and so much to do the staff seemed overwhelmed at times. Had cereal but no milk for cereal. Positive, no bed bugs, rooms temperature was adjustable and worked very well. The room was clean. Although bathroom was small it was clean.
