Still the best service in the business, on par with the Carlyle and Savoy. In room dining was delicious and the Wagyu at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT is not to be missed. Take it from a lifelong NY’er on a business staycation, this is an incredibly stylish stay in the beating heart of NYC!

most countries were great. However, upon check-in, they did their damnedest to try to upgrade me to a more expensive room. They said that Expedia sometimes makes mistakes, and we couldn’t have the room that we were booked at already. I thought back. I provided my itinerary number and my confirmation number. I said give me the room that we were confirmed with I’m going to call Expedia. They then relented. But it was a Darn good fight. I think it’s terrible that they tried to do that. I also had to ask for my resort credit. They then had to look it up supposedly, and finally found it. Wow! Watch out when you are signing in. Make sure you get what you pay for

The staff were incredibly kind! They made my birthday celebration extra special. Everyone from valet, to the front desk, and housekeeping were very kind and made my stay very pleasant and memorable. Good location, but not Four Seasons in quality, though it is in cost. Rooms are small and weirdly dark. Ordered room service soup and my friend got really sick after eating it and it tasted so terrible. Was a basic chicken noodle. The worst we had ever tried. We reported it to manager. No one cared to check up on us. Will be my last four seasons experience though I used to love the Four Seasons brand but after this, I’ve decided they are no longer living up to the hype and not worth the $700-900 per night price tag for sure.

The Four Seasons Downtown made our visit so incredibly special. Even before we checked in, the service was impeccable: Vash ran out to Bloomingdales to pick up some dresses I ordered for a funeral and they ordered us a car from the airport. It was our son’s 5th birthday, and our room had cupcakes saying “Happy Birthday!” along with his favorite beverage (apple juice). AND we were awestruck by our 1-BR, 2-BA suite. It an unexpected, but very appreciated surprise. Min, in particular, made our stay SO special. Samantha in Reservations, the Guest Relations team, Robert the house car driver, and even the Director of security went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We already loved The Four Seasons but this particular stay was the absolute best. Thank you!!!
