Start-up issues

Hotel had just been renovated and changed from Crown Plaza to Hyatt 3 days prior. Parking garage was under construction, Check-in people were being trained. Tried to get some drink glasses delivered, never delivered. TV was not hooked up to basic cable. Otherwise the room was very nice.

The check in took almost 1 and half hours, we had to move our other plan s just because we were in line for check in for long time. On top of that the staff kept disappearing from the front desk leaving almost 20+ in check in line with no info of what was going on. Once we got to check in the desk person did not even apologize. The room it self was nice and the location was really convenient but rating staff and service was not as expected.

This hotel seems brand new but was not ready to be opened. Check in took over 1 hour, no smoke alarm in the room, and toilet was not properly installed as it did not flush half the time.

Visited the property on the 1st day after Hyatt taking over from other hotel brand. A couple of downsides, no parking available upon arrival. Had to double park till I finish my check in. Was checked in to a room that was already occupied by another guest, had to go down again to get another room assignnent, no coffee maker in the room however bed was comfortable & brand new renovated room.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It took front desk an hour to check us in when we got there, they seem to have no clue how to do anything, staff was asking each other. I understand that they just renovated/opened but there is no excuse about such bad service. Next morning, had same experience with Housekeeping, called multiple times and then had to go to front desk to resolve the issue. The rooms are spacious but with very strong odor of paint or something. The bathroom shower was missing shampoo and conditioner which was lying on side of sink with its holder attached to it. The bedding is so uncomfortable, it feels like plastic, you can hear if anyone is changing sides under those blankets. Above all, some managers were willing to hear and take feedback and some are just blaming the new opening for everything. They may improve in future but would not stay there again!

Hotel just opened so there were a few kinks still to be worked out. A/C was weak. Hot water took 10 mins to warm. Elevators were having problems. Bar not open. Staff was exceptionally friendly and apologetic. Will give this first stay a pass. Great location
