The pros: - The hotel was in great walking distance to the closest subway station, as well as some of the great attractions of NYC - including Madison Square Garden which is where we were headed to for a few events. - The room was always toasty warm when returning to it, as there was a radiator that we could control. - Breakfast is free! - Staff were very attentive and helpful throughout the stay. Cons: - There was only one working elevator which caused major delays with getting up and down the hotel. - The breakfast wasn’t very inclusive to those who have different dietary needs. It would have been nice to have non-dairy options, alternatives to pork and a selection of herbal teas and a hot chocolate option etc. - It was hard to sleep because walls were quite thin and could hear other guests in their rooms including above and below us.

Great location close to Penn Station - room was very clean, beds were comfy - breakfast was lovely, freshly ground coffee any time of day - cookies offered at 3pm, wine offered at 4pm. It's on the smaller side, hotel-wise - but we had a great stay overall.

The hotel was clean and nice but they had faulty smoke detectors. Said we were smoking in the room which we were not charged us $350.00 and kicked us out so we had to leave the hotel the night before our flight. My husband smokes but he would go and smoke outside of the hotel. They said it happened at a time when we were not even in the room and would not check the cameras to show that we were telling the truth. So we lost $350.00 for the smoke detection plus a nights stay and we had to pay $300.00 at another hotel to have somewhere to sleep for the night. It was my husband’s 50th birthday. Made for a bad experience
