The hotel had no television, was broken whole time we were there. After a long hot day walking in the city to come back to relax and just have no choice but sit in silence. No where to sit in lobby so coulnt even sit with others in party to either. . The street was filled with trash which made me literally sick. Just trying to even sit on porch all you could smell was trash. There was only 1 elevator running at times This was my worst experience in a hotel in a very very long time. I'm very disappointed. .

I liked the location. The staff were friendly and helpful and kind. My room was good, great shower pressure. There was construction in the front of building that made social space limited. The breakfasts were great. Food was good and plenty of it. Limited space for sitting at breakfast. Quite crowded. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

Overall stay was good. The breakfast has options just get there rather early or else it's all picked over, and crowded. The shower water, temperature is good, but the shower head not great, water trickles out.

The hotel messed up our reservation. We reserved a king bed and sofa sleeper; they gave us 2 double beds. They said it was because we used a third party site; however, we talked to some other patrons at the hotel and they said they reserved a bunch of 2 double bed rooms but were given king bed/sofa sleeper rooms instead. I asked for a manager to contact me about the hiccup with the reservation but no one ever contacted me. The breakfast was good. There was plenty of food to go around. The elevators were very slow.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express New York - Manhattan West Side, and while there were some positive aspects, the experience overall left much to be desired. Pros: Location: The hotel is conveniently located near many attractions in Manhattan, making it easy to explore the city. This was definitely the highlight of my stay. Breakfast: The hotel provides complimentary breakfast, which is always a nice perk. However, the quality of the breakfast was underwhelming, and I felt it could have been better in terms of variety and freshness. Cons: Safety Concerns: There were homeless individuals lingering outside the hotel, which made the area feel unsafe, especially at night. This detracted from the overall experience and made me feel uneasy during my stay. Elevator Issues: The hotel has only one working elevator, which caused significant delays. Waiting 5-10 minutes every time to use the elevator was frustrating, especially during peak times. While the location is great and the breakfast is a nice touch, the issues with safety, and elevator functionality made my stay less enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel only if location is your top priority and you're willing to overlook some inconveniences.
