This was such a great property to stay at. Check in/out very simple and fast despite a packed lobby. You can check in early for a fee or just leave luggage at hotel for a fee. Staff was very nice and helpful. Few things, our thermostats made a horrible noise like something was clawing through before it turned on but worked great after it turned on. Breakfast wasn’t what I thought it would be but they do give you extended time and multiple options. All in all would absolutely stay again and would recommend.

This beautiful hotel. Jazz music playing, exceptional service, with Broadway at your feet. Only a few blocks from the Port Authority, and easy access to the Subway. The only problem we had was the very loud noise of the wind hitting our windows from 2 sides of the building - made for a disruptive sleep.

The good thing about this hotel is its location. You can't get a better spot for all the NY scene has to offer. The hotel entry area was great, hotel restaurants were really good and staff were also very friendly. The a/c and heat worked well too in the room. There was round the clock security as well so we felt very safe. The areas of improvement are the rooms themselves. They are very dated, and there's minimal ventilation. Our bathroom was always dripping with condensation and we're sure there was mold on the toilet. We also noted it needed a deep cleaning as much of the surfaces weren't wiped down. We also have to mention sound proofing. It's an old hotel so even on the top floor, you hear NY Times Square all night. So it wasn't bad, but not great. I'd stay again for the location alone.

I’ve always wanted to stay at the Edison Hotel. I love the theming of the property and the music playing thru out the hotel. The room was clean and I was impressed of the space size the room had to offer. We had an accessible two queen bed room and the shower was perfect for my needs. My only downside the water wasn’t too hot so got a lukewarm shower. For the price In a central location of Times Square I would recommend to my travel clients to stay here. Wish I wasn’t charged an extra fee for an hour later checkout though. Some hotels say it’s okay, so I was a little bummed on that part having to pay that extra fee with my budget.

Just an ok place to stay

The stay was just ok. The room was small. Didn’t have any heat except for a small AC/Heater window unit set in the window and a space heater. View was obstructed by plywood and metal because, apparently, the building is under constructed right there! It was just an ok place to stay. Location was terrific though!!
