Great location, great food at both restaurants, and excellent customer service. Rooms were small even for NY and the carpet in the rooms is in dire need of a good cleaning. Beds were super clean and comfy. Not much room in the bathroom for toiletries. (We had the basic, cheapest room). Windows had been painted shut. Cool historic property.

Give a wide berth

Perfect location but thas it !! Hotel is extremely tired, distinct lack of maintenance & care. Staff are so miserable to the point they have no customer service at all, no please thank you, good morning, how can I help....need a serious amount of retraining ! To cap it all, on check out I wanted to put my luggage in the store....I was charged a $1 per item, yes it's nothing, but I travel the world & stay in so many hotels and have never been charged to store my luggage after staying, then the guy put the money in his pocket !! Would I stay here again or recommend, NO CHANCE !

Of course it was wonderful stay, I stayed here 2nd time now in July 2025 and earlier stay was in June 2023 Excellent ambience, although I will say rooms are little bit conjugated but definitely manageable, good rooms and cleanliness happens daily this is what I found both times when I stayed almost 5 nights. Very near to TimeSquare, best breakfast for go and grab at bond 45

Our room was not ready for 4 HOURS after it was supposed to be. Check in was at 3 pm,and we got there at 5 pm. They said it wasn’t ready and should be done by 6 pm so we just decided to wait there. It wasn’t done until 7 pm and we had to get ready for dinner in the lobby bathroom where we waited for 2 hours. They refunded me a measly $100 for the inconvenience. Then when we got to our room at 10:30 pm it did not have the pull out couch that it was supposed to have so there was nowhere to sleep for 2 people. I put 6 people on the reservation and it was supposed to be a “family suite” so it should have had that in addition to the 2 queen beds. When I called to get it figured out the woman I spoke to said there should be a pull out couch and would send housekeeping to show me how to open it. When housekeeping got there he confirmed that it was not a pull out couch. I then had to call to figure out what to do. Their only solution was to charge me another $275 to upgrade to 2 connecting rooms. I said I wasn’t interested in spending any more money and to please find me the room that I had booked with a pull out couch. She said that wasn’t possible as they didn’t have any more. I asked for the 2 connecting rooms offered at no additional charge and she refused which was insane to me as they literally did not have what I paid for. At 11 PM with 4 exhausted kids we paid for the 2 connecting rooms so we could get some sleep. The next night one of the kids sp

Staff was friendly but we had a giant cockroach in our room. They didn’t move us to a higher floor until the next day. Desk staff tried to tell us it was a water bug when it was clearly a giant cockroach

Excellent location in Midtown - walking distance to so many theaters and main atttactions for sightseeing in NYC. Housekeeping staff were so fast & efficient! Clean room and clean towels daily.
