The front desk and housekeeping staff are excellent here. The manager even went above and beyond for surprising my 16 year old daughter for her birthday with soft chocolate chip cookies and chips in the room (and a bottle of wine for the parents ofc). The only real complaint would be the size of the standard two queen rooms as they were a bit on the small size and the water pressure for the showers, which was pretty much non-existent after 9am.

Hotel Edison is perfectly located right in Times Square, making everything walkable and convenient. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet despite the busy area. Friendly staff and a classic Art Deco vibe made the stay even better. Would definitely stay again.

Room was spotless, staff were very professional, friendly and always going above and beyond to help out. It’s a perfect location near everything. I highly recommend the Hotel Edison, and we will stay here again when we return to Manhattan. A classy place!

Always a pleasure every time me and my wife get to come to New York City! Hotel Edison from day one always presented us with a good time and good vibes. This is our home away from home so much amenity that the hotel offer as well as around the hotel can’t never go wrong. Also a nice touch with the wine hour, free breakfast vouchers in complementary treats in your bedroom!

Front staff was rude every time we had interaction with them. Got to hotel at 9:30 am and was told if we wanted to check in early before 3:00 pm it would be $80.00. We had been up since 3:00 am and it was bitter cold outside. We ended up walking around Times Square and going to the 45 Bond and the floor was wet and I fell down the stairs and hurt my shoulder. Not one manager came and checked on me to see if I was by ok🙁. By 12:30 I was exhausted and needed ice for shoulder. Went back to front desk and she stated if we wanted to check in before 2:00 pm it would now be 72.00 for 1.5 hours early. We paid it. Got to room and no refrigerator, micro, the heating register made horrible sounds when it kicked on each time. Front desk said they could do nothing about it. So we didn’t sleep for 3 nights. Check out we were charge 40.00 per night for cleaning fees. NO one ever cleaned our room. The older gentleman at the front desk was so rude to us . He needs to attend a customer service training. We will be taking our business elsewhere. I will be sure to share with my friends and colleagues about our experience! This was unacceptable! Very disappointed in the Edison!!

Staff was very courteous and I appreciate that they check room keys to make sure everyone in the hotel is supposed to be there. Check-in took quite a while and there was a long line of people waiting to check in. The room was very outdated and not the cleanest but it was comfortable and sufficient for our stay.

Room was cozy. A little noisy if you on the street side - but it is right near Broadway so to be expected. If you want to see lots of broad shows this is a place for you. That’s right in the heart of midtown. The 6.50 breakfast is great. Staff at front counter could be a little bit more helpful. But overall a good experience
