Staff in the hotel were OK. They did their job. I found the breakfast at hotel to be extremely poor. If you want to sit down, you had to pay an extra $6. Considerin what I paid for the hotel for the week? To be in very poor value for money. I understand where I was what's a prime location but still

Hotel Edison was great. Beautiful art Deco styling… lovely 1940’s music played in the lobby/elevators and outside. Really gave us a feel of ‘old’ Manhattan NYC 2 restaurants inside and a comedy club/music bar. We did have a problem with our first room. It had an unacceptable damp odour and extremely noisy a/c unit. After the first night, the hotel receptionist changed rooms for us without any problem. Good hotel, very central to everything. Very efficient friendly staff. Thankyou

I suffer from claustrophobia. I was scheduled to stay five nights at your hotel. But on arrival I discovered I could not open the windows even by 1 inch so I could bring in fresh air. Plus the air conditioner was extremely loud. And by turning it off I felt even more claustrophobic. I called the front desk and learned that the windows could not be opened -- even for 1 inch of fresh air. The next morning -- after a sleepless night -- I contacted the front desk and asked to cancel the remaining nights of my stay. My request was granted and I received a refund. I moved to another hotel that had the same type of windows and the Hotel staff easily opened the windows one inch high so I could breathe and not feel claustrophobic. Please revisit your policy regarding locked windows so that other guests like me can enjoy staying at your hotel.

Very good hotel overall. Can be a little noisy at times, front desk and grab and go breakfast can get very busy. Very good location for Times Square and theatre shows. Other attractions such as Rockerfeller, 5th Avenue and Central Park all within walkable distance. Subway stations within 5 minute walk from hotel.

Iconic Art Deco hotel in the heart of the Theater District and Times Square. Friendly staff, free to-go breakfast, comfortable room although no coffee maker -- but that sent me out to Times Square at 5:30am for coffee which was fun. I had a great stay at a very fair price! Highly recommended.

Room was perfect even though we didn’t spend much time there. All staff was very attentive and helpful. The hot water took a little longer than I wanted but that is my only complaint. Will stay again when we make another trip to the city. Time square within an arms length.

Tex at the front desk was amazing and set the tone for our stay. Friendly, informative, and gracious. He gave my kids some candy as it was near Halloween and was overall just a joy to meet. Thank you for your kindness Tex. I had a cocktail at the Run House which had a great vibe and music. We opted for the $6.50 meal at Bond 45 in the morning which was fun and gave us fuel for our day. It is time square area so it is extremely loud at night when trying to sleep. For that reason I wouldn’t stay here for a long trip but we were in for just a night before our cruise. Overall beautiful hotel, great spot for theater goers and anyone wanting to be in the heart of Time Square. Thanks to all the staff for our pleasant stay!

We returned to the Edison after a stay in February this year. The hotel again provided a stellar experience. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff at every level of service. It is nice that there is a coffee/tea maker and bottled water in the room and that a grab and go breakfast is included downstairs as it makes starting the day relaxed.
