Very enjoyable

Great location, and everyone was nice. Beds were actually comfortable. I don’t usually sleep well out my own but these where comfy. Rooms were quiet and clean with a nice bathroom. My only gripe would be there was only one elevator.

Great location and a comfortable room. The staff was always helpful and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable. A big plus was the option to leave luggage after check-out, which was very convenient for a late departure. The breakfast was a nice touch—a great way to start the day. Highly recommend!

Initial reaction during check in wasn't the best because pregnant staff member wasn't very welcoming. She spoke very low and was short in her words. Later during my stay, I did have an issue with plumbing in our room. Staff was great about moving us to another room because issue kept happening. I appreciated that and would stay with them again in the future due to location of subway, food options and shopping nearby.

Great location, especially if you’re arriving to Penn Station, which is a short walk away. Friendly and helpful staff – was able to store luggage before check-in and after check-out. Comfortable queen bed and decent sized room; view overlooked busy K-town area. Subway stops close by, plus very walkable to main tourist areas in Midtown. Would definitely stay again!

Great place for a quick and convenient getaway in Manhattan. Great staff, room was clean and spacious. Only complaint is that we could hear a lot of street noise, but that's not the hotels fault. Breakfast is included. It's not great, but sufficient in getting your day started.

This hotel was a great value. It had a walk-in closet and a refrigerator and was very spacious. It was very walkable to everything we wanted to do in New York City, which included Broadway, Central Park, St. Patrick’s, Cathedral, high line, and art museums. And don’t forget the breakfast, which wasn’t anything special, but it was nice to have an area to drink coffee and eat a bagel that you could get from a block away.

Excellent stay in a classic hotel.

Had a great stay for an extended weekend. A great location near Herald Square, Macy's, and the Empire State Building. Several good restaurants in the area, Booked a twin room with a shared bath, and was upgraded to a suite with 2 queen beds and ensuite bath. I was very pleased. My room was on the 4th floor, of a 10 (?) story hotel, and is an older building but definitely remodeled and updated. However it took a long time for shower water to get hot. But be patient, once the hot water starts, it is definitely HOT!

As a first time solo traveler to NYC, this hotel was perfect! The location is walkable to several major attractions, the hotel offers free luggage storage, free breakfast and coupons to nearby restaurants! The hotel is really lovely and has a cool, unique vibe. Hotel Stanford is my “to stay” hotel in NYC from now on. Best location- few steps away from Pen Station, short walk to Time Square and all that New York can offer. Few steps to bus stop and metro station. Staff are extremely friendly and go out if their way to make your stay pleasant. Hotel is clean and very quiet. I absolutely loved it.

The hotel was what we needed, a place to stay to take in New York. It wasn’t fancy but, the bed was comfortable, our room had a fridge/safe, and all the things we needed. The breakfast was pretty limited and served tiny hot dogs and mashed potatoes, and stuff to make a mixed salad. That was sorta of odd but, maybe that’s normal to some people. Otherwise it was cereal, yogourt, bread/bagels and fruit. We would stay here again when we come back, it was centrally located and nearby the train station so we just had a short walk when we arrived/left. The street is also full of awesome restaurants and stores - lots to explore on that block.
